"The saddest part about BETRAYAL,

is that it never comes from your enemies."

-Unknown

"We're here, baby." Nathan told me and tug my hand that his holding, a sudden jolt of electricity run through my system, I gasp and snatch my hand from his hold, a ghost of smile grace his face, like I just did the most amusing thing, a sudden heat crept my face, I wonder why it seems like everything I do amuses him. I straighten my dress and look outside the window, a massive white mansion hit my eyesight, I am living in a big house but this house is much, much bigger, I open the door and slid out, still gaping at the mansion in front of me, its porch pillars was so big and tall it reaches to the black ceiling of the mansion, my eyesight reaches to the black roof of the mansion and slowly trail downward, I frown when I noticed that the windows has different color and design of curtains, but amazingly, it added to the homey aura of the massive mansion. There is no fountain in front like what most mansions have, just a mini garden, if I say so, was in front; the drive way circled it, although it was just a plant form like a massive wolf. It was so beautifully cut that my eyes glued to it, studying and wondering how they grew and cut it, and who maintain it.

"Do you like it?" I shiver when Nathan's breath fan my neck, I step forward, to escape the heat that came from his body, it still scares me that I can't name the emotions his been awakening in my system, it is so pure and raw and it scares me that if it anyhow intensify, I won't be able to control it.

"You lived here?" I asked curiously, still not looking or turning to face him.

"For the meantime, yes." He answers me cryptically. I frown I was about to clarify his answer when the big double door of the mansion swung open and reveal a gorgeous middle aged blue eyed woman, beside her is the older version of the man beside me, it was no question that this man is the father of Nathan, they look like each other, except, this man has a graying hair, and Nathan is taller for about two inches or three.

The woman step outside and his flowing black hair bounces as she reaches us. That's when I noticed that it was just me, Nathan, Anton and the six men that Anton contacted to accompany us was left standing here in the outside.

The woman was looking at me in total amazement that it somehow creepy. Her gaze comes down to the necklace she was holding, it was the same necklace that the Elders show me and the same one Nathan was holding when he found me. They said that it help them recognize the knightmare, which is me. It somehow scares me that someone was so adamant to find me, but my curiosity about my roots intensify, why would someone so adamant to find me?

"It's really you." The woman- whom, I assume is Nathan's mom- whispers and looks at me like I am just a figment of her imagination. I guess, they didn't expect it that they can find me, because the elders and all the people I met has been looking at me like that.

I just nod and smile, that's when Nathan clears his throat, his mom looks at him, and Nathan's gaze turns a dark shade of grey, but his face turns blank like his mother, I was about to asked what was going on. But her mom snaps and says;

"Really?!" she screech like a young girl, and look at me excitedly,

"I can't believe it! All this years, you've been looking for her and it turn out that she's the knightmare!" she said while looking at me.

Nathan clears his throat once more

"Mother, please." He said, though his voice is far from pleading it was laced in amusement and annoyance.

"Okay, Okay, I get it." She said in surrender, the man who I assume is Nathan's dad, tug the woman and his arms circled the woman's waist adoringly,
