Overhaul: Eri was taken...
Silence filled the room, Izuku wanted to panic, but he had to be professional and also for the fact that he didn't want to be the one to make this awkward. Seriously, what's more awkward than making a serious situation worse by panicking? That would just kill your self-esteem.
Kyouka: oh god... THAT'S THE THIRD TIME THIS MONTH!!!!
The revelation hit Izuku like a wave.
Izuku: third time!?!?
Himari: you heard correctly, third time...
The hero tried to defend himself.
Overhaul: I was trying to teach my new sidekick about responsibility by having him look after Eri for awhile, ten minutes at most! Yet somehow, he got into a fight with a thief and when he turned back, she was being taken by two men!
Himari: why didn't he go after the guy???
Overhaul: he's a fighting freak! When he caught one of the guys, he got carried away, allowing the other to take Eri away!
Kyouka and Himari slapped their faces.
Kyouka: ugh... it doesn't matter what your excuse is, but I do have a condition...
Overhaul: sigh... fine, what is it...?
She inhaled a deep breath before screaming from the top of her lungs.
Kyouka: when we get into UA, you better give us guaranteed hero internships!!!!
Shocked and somewhat expected this, Overhaul sighed once more before giving his answer.
Overhaul: fine, I'll do it...
The two girls cheered while Izuku stood there confused and with a question in mind.
Izuku: um I have a question, Overhaul...
The hero turn towards him, indicating he was giving his attention to him.
Izuku: w-why do you need to commission us, if you're a hero...?
Overhaul: ah good question...
The germ phobic man thought about the question, trying to put it in the correct words.
Overhaul: unlike you guys, I'm a hero and because of that, I'm bound by laws. If I wanted to intrude into the building Eri is trapped in, I would need a warrant and currently I don't feel like waiting for a warrant, which could take hours or days! So hiring you is the quickest way to get Eri back!
