Narrators POV
The night grew cold, it was a sky filled with gleaming stars, a fascination that could have been explored closely if humanity hadn't been suppressed by their evolution. It was a thought of Izuku, what if humanity never got quirks? Would he have been considered normal? Maybe, maybe not, he would never know, no one would know. So now he had to look to the future, take the first step on the path of his dream, to be more than a symbol of hope, but to be hope itself.
Izuku: what time is it?
Looking to the corner of his desk, he saw his clock show that the time was nearly 2 am in the morning. Probably not the best time to still be up distracted by writing notes in his hero analysis journals, or he hoped to be distracted. He just couldn't, that random voice that popped in his head bugged him, it bothered him so much. It had been hours since it last spoke a word, but he somehow felt its gaze upon his body, Izuku had no evidence to prove this, yet in the deepest part of his heart, he knew.
Izuku: ugh... what am I thinking, I'm just going crazy... ahaha...
Getting up from his desk, Izuku turned off all the lights in his room and began to lay down in his bed. He desperately wanted these thoughts to go away, to go in a deep slumber and be saved from his own thoughts, dangerous thoughts
Izuku: it's fine, it's fine, some rest... will help me...
Closing his eyes, Izuku slowed his breathing as an attempt to calm his body, he would sleep better this way. In a matter of minutes, the green hair boy was losing consciousness, eventually falling asleep in the comfort of his own home. Though as comfortable as he can get, his night of astonishment was not over yet, no where near its total end.
Closing his eyes seeing the ceiling of his room, he would open them mere seconds later to witness a dark void surrounding him. His body was covered in smoke, he couldn't speak, he could barely see, but he saw the floor to resemble a barren wasteland, an empty land. He didn't know why he was here, he could only hear wind howling and clashing against his foggy vestige. Izuku grew cold in the wind, even if he couldn't feel much of anything, he felt lonely in this unnatural world.
A strange land was holding him prisoner in his own dream, in his own sleep. What could have caused such a phenomenon, a lack of sleep causing his mind to go wacko? No, he seemed clear of mind, somewhat. Someone's quirk? Most unlikely, he never knew someone to have a quirk to go into someone else's dream. Plus, He would never want to make an enemy out of someone like that. So what was the answer this situation? Too many questions of his were being unanswered.
???: we don't have time...
In the blink of an eye, someone's face appears mere inches from him, their gaze striking a shivering coldness throughout Izuku's body. Their white hair gave them an astral appearance, an emerald color painted their irises as if he seemed desperate. The strain in the man's eyes were hard to look at, his face was blank, but you could see his worry and discomfort. So many emotions spiraled through the ghostly figure without a clear expression on his face.
Izuku: who are you...
The white hair man, even without hearing the words of Izuku knew what he was asking. It was far too obvious, especially in such a situation where the boy was kidnapped in his own mind.
