(I am sorry if this part might be short but due to Christmas and everything it has been quite hard to focus on videos and writing. Since new years is coming up I thought I'd write this since it was beautiful. Apologies for the spicy-ish scene😭)
This was it. The last day of December. New Years Eve. I couldn't help but feel a rush of emotions, after everything that's happened that year it felt weird starting a new year, a new chapter yet I couldn't be more happy thst I was going into the new years besides my best friends and of course Atlas.
(I'm going to skip the boring day part and get straight to the night)
It was around 10 pm. All of me and my friends were at my friend Elena's place. Me and Addie mostly went to get ready with Elena by doing our makeup and just gossiping together whilst the boys just came to sit on the couch and watch tv before we all headed to the rooftop we'd be watching the fireworks from.
I was in Elena's room with Elena and Addie. As I was sitting at Elena's vanity, doing a simple natural makeup look, Addie and Elena were on the bed talking about how excited they were for this New Year's Eve.
"I'm so excited! I can't believe the years already over" Addie laughs and nudges Elena.
"I wonder if we'll get a New Year's Eve kiss" Elena laughs. I couldn't help but look at them over my shoulder.
"You two will definitely be receiving New Year's Eve kisses, I mean Addie from Alex and Elena from Jayden" I teased them. "Oh and Aurora from Andrew since they're going to meet us at the rooftop" I add with a cheeky smile.
"Who says Atlas won't make the move tonight?" Addie smirks and I laughed.
"Atlas? Atlas kiss me for new years? Never" I say with a cheeky smile knowing deep down this night could be it. I was so excited that my heart was pounding.
"I'm sure he will" Elena laughs.
"Yeah yeah sure he will" I rolled my eyes with a smile before standing up from the vanity.
"I'll be right back, I'm going to go to the bathroom" I smile and leave Elena's room before heading down the hallways and going to the bathroom.
Once I was about to leave the bathroom, I bumped into one of the boys.
"Oh sor-.." I stopped apologising once I looked up and saw... Atlas. My heart dropped and I couldn't help but smile softly.
"Well well well" he whispers before gently pulling me into the bathroom. I wanted to pull away but I didn't... I wanted to be with him.
Once we were in the bathroom he towered over me as I was pressed against the door. I couldn't help but inhale is musky cologne that always made me weak. Oh god. I looked up into his. Oh those eyes. The same eyes I'd see when trying to fall asleep. The same eyes that made me weak. The eyes thst made my year a dream.
"Atlas... seriously? Here? At Elena's place? What if someone walks in?" I whispered
"So? I'm sick of playing. I want to get caught. I want them to know. I want them to know that this is real. I want this, us." He whispered back and gently leaned down and cupped the side of my neck.
"You've been driving me crazy all week, you've been ignoring me, you've been ignoring my texts, my calls, everything! You've been driving me insane. And now on new years night you try avoiding me by saying "what if we get caught?" He whispers with a smirk. "I thought you were all about the chase" he leans in, our lips were inches away.
It was true, that whole week I've been ignoring him, until I decided what I wanted and what would be best for us, I had ignored him which only made the tension grow. God this whole thing going on between us was absolute tension all the freaking time.
