"hey..um...heyyy..are you still alive or did I just waste my time trying to keep you alive?"

I jolted awake but hit my head with something or someone

"OWW jeez this is how you thank me after saving your life?"

I sat there confused and my eyes still shut or at least I think because I can't see anything I tried to open my eyes but felt something over them,I brought my hands up to my face and started undoing some bandages just enough to uncover my eyes and saw an extremely attractive man with a hand on his forehead rubbing what i guess is where i bumped him. My head was throbbing from the impact too

"...where am I?" "who are you?" "how did I get here" "and.......!!!!WHERE ARE MY CLOTHES?!?!"

I was confused and afraid

"shh hey calm down! its ok lets start with the first question"

"let's see you are in my house which has neighbors so please shut up"

"I am just a random person who happened to find you tossed in a ditch all bloody and messed up

you seem to have been shot in the head i'm surprised you survived"

"and well since your clothes were bloody and dirty i tossed the out and put you in some new ones

pardon my intrusion of privacy and personal space but i didn't want your wounds to get infected"

I sat there staring at him something about him made me feel... whats the word...safe

he had light blue eyes which i could just loose myself into and brown hair with a slight stubble he looked to be in around his 20's

"how long have i been here

"I found you a month 16 days and 53 minutes ago my job requires me to keep an extremely precise time well at least it used to until they i guess you can call it fired me"

"oh sorry to hear that"

"its fine i was getting tired of it anyways..."

he said that but there was a hint of sadness in his eyes

i guess he really liked his job

"why did you get fire? if you don't mind me asking"

"that is not important at the moment... Hey you want some food? all I've been feeding you Is liquid food since you couldn't exactly chew.."

... i guess I'm a little hungry

"um.. yes please"

he smiled and stood up from his kneeling position and walked over to what i assumed is the kitchen

"ok so I have frozen pizza teriyaki or ribs"

"...I.. uh.. whatever you want"

"ok ill make something else"

he started the stove and took out some frying pans and started cooking

"it might take a while so tell me about yourself oh and if your wondering why i didn't take you to the hospital instead well its complicated so please refrain from asking"

hmmm... i hadn't actually thought about that and now he made me curious but I stopped myself from asking

"My name is Jack by the way last name is unimportant right now"

why is he being so secretive? i ignored it for now

"What is your name anyways? I'm getting sort of tired of thinking of you as the strange girl i found almost dead in a ditch with a bullet in her head HAHA sorry its not funny"

he smiled

"My name is........uh...no no no why UGHH.... MY HEAD!!!"

he came quickly over to me "shshshs hey its alright look at me its all right of course your head is going to hurt after what happened. Here lay down"

I slowly lay down on the queen sized mattress and closed my eyes

"ok lets try again. Hi my name is Jack what is your name?" he smiled

i like the way he smiles it makes me feel so calm

"my name"

"I don't know"

his eyes widened

"hmmm i thought something like this might happen"

"is there anyway you'd like me to address you?"

"......"

"How about I call you Red since that is of course what i thought of when i first saw you since you were covered in blood and it also happens to be my favorite color"

"Red... I like it"

He chuckled and smiled

"I'm glad"

even though i cannot remember anything from before waking up right now i think i might just like this guy

Well then this is awkward haha let me just say one thing as the author

IM REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY SORRY I HAVENT UPDATED IN LIKE 5 MONTHS

ok now that thats over i really home you enjoy this chapter and anticipate the next one which will be in 3 days or less I'm sorry but I've been extremely busy and since i just got a new laptop i can finally start writing again
