I will alter some plot lines, which I don't have to say, but I'm doing it anyway.

This story will be a bit dark, so remember to read the triggers down below before you continue. I will not be marking the chapters on which triggers the chapters contain, so if some of these mentions trigger you, I suggest not reading.

I will not describe the OC's look except for her eyes and hair. She has dark hair and eyes, but will mentioned infrequently.

I want anyone to see themselves as my OC or feel represented.

One of the most essential things in my stories is to keep the characters in character.

I will write from different POVs, but in third POV, the narration of these people will be UNRELIABLE, as it describes how they see and process things, not necessarily how it is. My characters are not one-dimensional (which a character should never be.)

Something else I want to mention is that my oc is imperfect. Nerina has plenty of flaws and is going to do stupid shit, and has wavering morals. She is also struggling with different mental health problems. I have researched and have my own experiences with these topics, and I will do my best to remain accurate and respectful.

If you have one of these mental health issues, you are not alone, and I do not want to misrepresent you.

Every diagnosis affects people differently. I, for example, have the same diagnosis as Kanye West, bipolar disorder, but he and I are very different in our effects of it. It can be disheartening to see someone with the same mental disorder as you put you and others with those diagnoses in a bad light.

Ultimately, this is fanfic, and do not use this information for face value or diagnose someone else. I am not a healthcare professional.

Of course, this is Obx fanfic centred around Rafe so that it will include drug abuse. Again, I will say that I am not an expert in this field, and I will do research and be as respectful as possible in these themes. Addiction is a disease that is incredibly difficult for the addicted and everyone around them.
