(3rd Pov)

The Taimanin are having a meeting right after they managed to repel the UFS invasion, they were discussing how to end the invasion but came to no conclusion and then the door is opened with Y/N entering while carrying Mirabell and placing her in the chair.

Y/N: Tell everyone what you know.

Mirabell: If you are thinking about how to end the invasion it is better to give up, the UFS will not stop until it has Japan completely in its hands and since the death of the prime minister things have become more complicated.

Y/N: Who was the prime minister?

Asagi: His name is Asai Koujirou but that's just a cover name and you know him as Edwin Black.

Y/N: I understand but you knew he was with the UFS and from what I found out the UFS has a part that is Pro-Nomad and another part that is Anti-Nomad.

Oboro: I was part of a group subordinate to the UFS Department of Defense, but it never crossed my mind that things would be so complicated at that time.

Mirabell: I'm sorry to tell you but you were just another person used in political schemes, things are more complicated as it seems one part of the UFS is against Nomad but another is in favor.

Asagi: Is there anything they have in common?

Mirabell: The only thing in common is that everyone wants to have Japan at any cost.

Rinko: Why does the UFS want Japan so much?

Ingrid: I can answer that.

With the exception of Y/N, everyone in the room looked at Ingrid who had just arrived in the room with Cerastes.

Ingrid: Japan is the central point for the emergence of the Demon Gates, which is why the UFS and the Chinese Union have forces in Japan.

Mirabell: I didn't know about that.

Ingrid: Of course you wouldn't know, this matter is kept confidential and due to your position it's normal not to know.

Oboro: Well even you were just a piece in the end.

Y/N: Asagi is there someone in the Japanese government we can trust?

Asagi: Yes we do and his name is Yamamoto Nobushige, he is the former director of the Gosha Academy and is currently head of the Unit of Investigation Section three, he is the closest link we have to the Japanese government in addition to being very respected by the Taimanin.

Y/N: Great, we still have some hope.

Tokiko: Y/N why do you say that?

Y/N: If the Japanese government was completely corrupt I would kill everyone and put new people in their place.

Tokiko: Please don't do that.

Hitomi: What's your plan Y/N?

Y/N: We need a new prime minister but it needs to be someone we trust so why not make Nobushige the new prime minister.

Hitomi: It might work but Japan is still weak in terms of power.

Y/N: That's why Taimanin will support him and I'll stay behind the scenes just observing, if something very complicated comes up I'll deal with it.

Asagi: You intend to make the UFS for the invasion through political means, this could work but we need to talk to Nobushige.

Hitomi: But what if that doesn't stop the invasion?
