A taxi came to a sudden halt in front of a tall, magnificent skyscraper building, as much as the passenger was happy to be going in. She scanned her surroundings in astonishment and quickly took her purse and file and stormed out of the cab.
“Here…thank you,” she said, rushing and giving the cab driver the money, who looked at the amount and shouted after the lady for her change. The lady was in such a hurry that she walked as fast as her legs could carry her. She was dressed in a mini black office skirt which reached just above her knees with a white tuck-in shirt and a black office jacket with her black hair falling to her shoulders and heels which made her look presentable.
“Excuse me… I'm Delores Lopez… I'm here for a job interview” the lady who was Lola said to the receptionist as soon as she entered the glorious building, it was in order with several employees busy doing their stuff. The woman in the reception stopped what she was doing and looked up at Lola, scanning her from head to toe as if accessing her like a criminal.
“Miss Lopez…the interview is in the conference room on the second floor to the left” the lady said while typing on the community, Lola exhaled in relief and prepared to walk to the elevator but was stopped by the receptionist lady.
“Excuse me Miss Delores” the lady said and Lola walked back to the desk.
“Yes…is something wrong?”
“I was just informed that the interview ended five minutes ago…and the boss has gone back to his office, so proceed to the fifth floor and meet him” the lady said, Lola nearly collapsed but nodded.
“Thank you” she said with a smile, just as she was going to the elevator, her phone vibrated and without seeing the caller she answered.
“Mom please… I'll call you later” Lola said immediately because the person who called was none other than her mom. Scolding her about something, she was already anxious because she overslept and was late for her exclusive interview.
“With that attitude, you wouldn't get a son-in-law now, quit bothering me… I'm already anxious” she said in fury, cut the call and waited for the elevator to open. Her stomach was turning and churning out of anxiety. If she failed to get the job, then who knew what would happen next? She worked hard for this only to blow it all away because she had too much to drink the previous night.
“Come on” she muttered in desperation as she waited for the elevator to reach. It was taking forever, which increased her anxiety even more.
“Thank goodness” she mumbled when the lift stopped, and it opened out to review a wonderful corridor. The atmosphere was pleasant with zircon and all. Lola smiled as she made her way to the office where the so-called boss was.
“Breathe Lola, breathe” she chanted as she prepared to knock at the door. Once she was ready, she knocked lightly and waited, only to hear a faint come in. She pushed the door open and nervously walked. Glancing up, she saw a man dressed in a gray-green sitting behind the glass table, busy on his computer. Lola was nervous as she tried to calm her pounding heart. It was difficult to keep her breathing stable, knowing full well she was just an inch away from getting a job at her dream jewelry company.
“Good morning…sir,” she said immediately after she reached the man, the office was large with a good view of the city, she glanced around and there was a lounge where she guessed personal meetings were held.
“Take a seat…you are five minutes late” the man spoke in a commanding voice without looking at her. It startled her as she with a confused soul pulled out a chair opposite the man and sat down nervously.
“Sir… I… I'm…” Lola started to explain, and to her shock, the man cut her off.
“What makes you think you deserve this job?” the man went and asked her with his eyes still glued to his computer. Lola stared at him without blinking, he sounded rude, but she didn't think much and smiled.
“Well sir, I'm a hardworking woman, and I'll make sure to…” she stated again, and again the man cut her off rudely.
“Why should we hire you?” He went on and asked, which confused Lola even more, such that she didn't know what to say. She felt a sharp pain in her chest as fear washed over her. It looked like her interview wasn't as she anticipated it to be.
“Well, sir…like I said, I'm a dedicated ambitious woman who never leaves any job unfinished, so hiring me would be good for the company,” she answered with confidence and this time the man didn't interrupt her, she had to admit he was rather cold, or maybe he was just professional. She still felt a hint of rudeness in his voice.
“Why should I hire you? What makes you better than the ones who came before you?” Again he asked the same question and by now Lola was confused completely, why was he asking the same question again and again, or maybe her friend's theory was right? To get accepted into a big company, one needed to do all that it took to have the job. Lola smirked and took off her jacket and set it aside. The man had his eyes away, she took off her heels, set them aside, unbuttoned several buttons on her shirt and showed her cleavage. 'It's showtime, Lola' She said to herself and got up from the chair and walked around to the man. He was startled as he looked up only to find the lady close to him.
“W-what is all this, Miss Lopez?” Rafael muttered, seeing how the lady was touching him inappropriately.
“Shh…let me do this boss” she whispered in a seductive voice and ran her finger from his forehead to his lips and leaned down and teased to kiss him but just brushed her lips on his, then used her free hand to caress his hard chest.
“What is all this!” he asked through gritted teeth as he tried to get her off, but the lady was now sitting in his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck. Rafael's breathing increased, feeling someone's disgusting hands on him, no one dared to touch any part of him.
“I know this is what you meant, sir… I'm all yours” she murmured again and leaned to his ear, blew hot air seductively and kissed his earlobe before kissing him lightly. Rafael had no idea what was going on, but he didn't care for women like her. Lola touched every part of him, trying certainly to make him go crazy with passion. However, just as she was about to slide down her hand to touch his member, Rafael caught her hand in a rage.
“Such a shameless woman!” he let out a low growl and threw her off him. Lola gasped and fell to the sides and looked up at the man, who was fuming in rage with a shocked expression.
“Get… The fuck out, or I'll call security to throw you out!” saying that, he grabbed her hand and dragged her to the door, opened it and threw her out like a petty dog and Lola fell to the floor not sure what she did wrong. Rafael slammed the door shut, ran his hand in his hair and disgustingly looked at himself.
“Cancel all my appointments for today,” he told his secretary over the phone and slammed it down.
“I need a shower” he mumbled, feeling disgusted. Never in his life had he ever met such a characterless woman who was so shameless as to throw herself at him. He hated being touched by women the most.
