"it's time to come home baby, you got school tomorrow." Her mom calmly said through the phone

"no buts. i want you home in 10 minutes." after that her mom hung up as Amari straight faced.
"i'm sorry y'all i gotta dip, we can hang out tmrw" Amari frowned getting up from the porch
"your mom ode bugging she usually don't make you leave this early even on school nights" notti complained rolling his eyes
"you want us to walk you home?" dd questioned getting up
"nah ill be fine my house ain't too far" Amari smiled
"Aii let us know when you get home please" dd pleaded hugging her "i will, i love y'all" Amari hugged ddot and notti then started her walk home
Amari got like 2 blocks up when she realized a car was following her, she was trying her hardest to not panic.
3 shots were left off and one hit Amari. The people jumped out the car to grab the girl and thats all she remembers.

We tried to think the best and think "maybe her mom took her phone" but we know her mom and she has never took Amari's phone.
"i'm calling Yoselin." i mumbled pulling out my phone
i found her contact and started calling her and she picked up the first ring.

"Have you heard from Amari?Did she come home?" i said in a panic tone as ddot and notti looked at me
"no it's been almost a hour, i'm becoming worried sick." i could hear it in her voice how scared she was.
"i asked her if she wanted me to walk with her and she said no, i feel like this is all my fault"
"no please don't have that mindset, ill find her, we will find her." she reassured
"me and my brothers are about to go out looking. ill call you if we find anything" i said before hanging up
"shes not home" i looked at ddot and notti
"there's no way" notti got up "we should've just went with her, what if she got hurt?" he mumbled walking back and fourth as ddot put his head in his hands
"Mari would've went straight home, and if she didn't she would let us know before she went anywhere else." i said trying to click everything together
