It was a Monday morning when I became conscious, so not many people were in the church, but I stayed anyway.
After a while, one by one, people stepped into the church and soon, we had a whole congregation.
I stayed for some reason. I just sat there waiting for the pastor to start preaching. Maybe God could help me out. Something was telling me to just sit there. That feeling where you get groovy with your phone, Netflix, a cold drink, and popcorn. So I stayed, and then 1st service began.

“ Dreams are an important part of many Biblical stories and passages. They offer insight and foresight into the favored decisions or actions that should be made.  ” You've got to be kidding me... “ You see even Saul knows this as he says to Samuel why he disturbs him. He says “The Philistines are fighting against me, and God has departed from me. He no longer answers me, either by prophets or by dreams. So I have called on you to tell me what to do.” Saul knows that dreams tell you what you need to do most of the time or your purpose in life or in that particular period in life. Prophets have dreams and they pay attention to them because they might be a message from God telling you something that is nneededfor the welfare of others and yourself. In several bible verses, you see people use dreams as a powerful weapon that's why they often needed interpreters for dreams like Joseph ”
... Could it be that He was trying to pass me a message? Was He trying to tell me something? My purpose... Right now, I didn't feel like I had or ever will, my mother was dead and my bones were crushed, I couldn't feel like anything, and I felt sore everywhere. What I needed to do... Was I to save the other children that are inevitably going to go missing? If so, why me? And how? I tried before and it didn't work. What's going to be different now, is it because now my mother's dead? Would it give me more thrill to want to end them?... Or maybe she'd be a trophy... A reward for if I do save the other kids.

“ If I fulfill my purpose will I get her back, if I do your bidding? ” I whispered the thought... Nothing.

Then I yelled it out; to nobody in particular, or maybe I was asking God, expecting a response. The entire congregation stared at me weirdly, but I didn't care. There was a chance I could get my mother back. Then thunder boomed ahead and I sprung out of my seat, taking it as an answer. I was unsure of where to start, of everything even, but time was of the essence, I couldn't let another kid die, not for their sake, but for my mother's.
I ran out of the church, towards the sound of the thunder. It was raining, and there was every chance the lightning was just a coincidence, but I was willing to put my life on it, in fact, I already was, after all, I had nothing left to lose.
My clothes were soaked and my hair whipped around in the wind. Which is why I didn't complain when someone offered to drop me where I was going. I had no idea where I was going but  as the person asked where he should drop me I replied

“ Take me to STAR Industries ”
