Paul's Pov

I frowned making my way outside as Billy, Charlie and Renee head to Billy's for the football game. My wolf was trying to come out. He wanted control because those stupid leech's don't understand when they lost. I kept my frown on my face as I hear the leech's approach us. I heard the shifters start growling but before they had a chance to talk I heard my wolves growl slowly approaching us. I let my smirk take over my face. I heard Bella whisper softly to me.

"Your pack?"

I nod slowly smiling. She was smart indeed. I was happy she always was smart. I pulled her closer to me causing the leech to growl at us causing me to frown in the direction of his growl.

"I don't appreciate you growling at me nor my mate. She has every right to choose who she wants. It is not your choice you do not own her nor will you ever own her. If anything she is mine."

"You fucking pathetic old mad you really think she wants someone as useless as you."

I chuckle at his words shaking my head leaning back pulling Bella into my lap. I nod in the direction that I felt my pack. They circled him slowly just to test him slightly.

"As much as you want those words to hurt me they don't. Just because my human side can not see does not mean my wolf can not. If I am lacking something in one body I make up for it in my other form. I don't need to see to know how beautiful and worth it that Isabella is. Nor do I need to walk to be able to love her. However I am alive meaning I can give her one thing you can not a family. A child or children. I can love her way better then you can. I can kiss her better and touch her better. Watch what you say boy. I am way older then any of you vampires. Keep testing my patience. Yes I was injured by vampires. Multiple vampires had to attack me to be able to even get me like this but I killed every single one of them."

I heard someone gasps but then Bella placed a kissed each of my eyes. I could tell she felt but she didn't need that from her. Just her love was enough to make me feel more of a man then I have felt before. I heard another growl.

"What you need to tell that sad story to earn her sympathy to get her to love you?"

I chuckle.

"Unlike you us wolves don't need a pity party. I am sure my body especially my dick is more than enough to please her. Wolves do have a tendency to take what we want."

I heard the shifters chuckle as Bella gasps at me as she feels my cock slowly harden. 

"You wolves are viale. Isabella he is thinking to many... disgusting thoughts about you."

I chuckle more when Isabella spoke softly trying not to be heard.

"He's not the only one."

I rub her back to let her know that it was ok to think those things. I did it all the time especially when she was gone. I couldn't help it she was my mate and just the smell of her made me fucking hard as hell. She made my wolf and I go crazy many times. I huffed as the stupid leech continued.

"Isabella how could he possibly take care of you with being blind and unable to walk. He is crimple no matter how much think he is worth it he wouldn't be able to protect you your stupid if you think that."

I growled slightly pulling Bella more closer to me. That was the last fucking straw. I was trying to calm my wolf down so he didn't do anything to drastic yet. We weren't in my territory even if my pack was here. I slowly cooled down as I felt Isabella kiss my cheek slightly humming. But what shocked me the most was what she said.

"Your the idiot Edward if you think that will get me to stay with you. Paul here makes a good point. He might not be able to walk but to me that doesn't matter now does him being blind change anything either. He can take perfect care of me. He could please me more than you ever could. And what if I want children you wouldn't be able to grant me that wish. He can. And plus I trust him more than anyone I knew him when I was a child."

And to add the cherry on top I feel her lips connect with my giving me the cutest kiss possible. Just to piss him off and let me know that she was on my side. I felt perfect right now. She just made me the happiest man alive. My wolf purred at our mate for standing up for us. She was brave and she proved her loyalty to me and our pack. She was mine as I was her. This leech wasn't going to stop and we were going to shove him down to where he belonged.

"Jacob are you going to let this happen."

I heard the male from earlier sigh and I felt Bella look towards who I thought was him.

"Honestly yeah. It hurts I am not the one she's wanting to be with. But her being with another wolf makes mine more calmer. I just wanted her to stay human and for her to have a family and a happy human life. So yeah if Bella wants Paul let her. He seems like a strong and good man and wolf. Plus I trust wolves more than you even if he is slightly different then me."

I hear Bella smile softly. I rub her thigh softly comforting her.

"See not even Jacob will help you in this one. Jacob was right I need to stay human I don't want to miss out on anything in this life. I am sorry Edward but."

I heard him growl louder this time. That was the moment shit got real......
