Authors Intro: I would like to express the excitement I have going into this book. I don't believe it will do that well but I do think it will be fun to write.

I wouldn't describe myself as a hateful person, but I do, with my whole heart, hate Peter Beckett. Because of us having the same birthday, I've had to share it with him for my whole life. You're probably thinking, "Oh, like the Kissing Book best friends". But no. I am not Elle and Peter is definitely not Lee.

I cannot stand Peter and he can't stand me. We like it that way, except in-front of our moms. We act as if we are best friends around them. We love our mothers and they would hope nothing more than to believe we loved each other, but I certainly do NOT love Peter. His brother on the other hand, Andrew, I love him. He's been my not-so-secret crush since forever. That's why I have to look good tonight.

On this lovely June 2nd, is my birthday dinner. Oh, right. And Peters birthday, but that's not important.

I'm currently sitting upstairs in my room with my best friend, Casey Baylee. Rhymes, I know. She's on my off-white bed comforter stalking her new guys ex-girlfriend on Instagram as I get ready for my dinner at some fancy dinner place my mom heard about from one of her book club friends.

"She looks nothing like me," Casey rambles, "Is it a good thing?"

"I mean, maybe it is. It means that he likes you for you, not just cause your 'his type'" I explain while applying my blush with my brush that I probably spent $2 on.

Casey stood up off my bed from her original starfish position. She walked over to my vanity while I'm sitting. She came up behind me to show me the photo of the girl. Brown hair and blue eyes. Practical opposite from Casey's blonde haired and hazel eyes.

Casey's always been beautiful, she doesn't know it though. For someone who looks like a Greek Goddess, she sure is insecure. I've always been jealous of her. Since the first day of kindergarten, I've envied her looks. Her sharp cheekbones and a jawline that could cut you. Naturally tan skin with perfect legs. It kills me that she doesn't know how beautiful she is.

Casey picks up a lipstick labeled Daydream and handled it to me.

"Tinted pink has always suited you", she explains. "Alright! Now get dressed. I'll be waiting for you downstairs... with Andrew"

She smirked as she snuck out the door. "He's mine!", I yelled back through the door.

I got up off my velvet light pink stool and walked over to my closet. There hung a beautiful long sleeve silk blue cocktail dress (photo above). I pulled it off the hanger and put it on. Sad to have to leave my pajamas here.

I sat back down at my vanity and took my rollers out of my brunette hair.

Floofy

I walked out my room and down the stairs which led straight into the living room where everyone was. I guess they were waiting on me. My mom (Leah), Peters mom (Jane), Peters dad (Nolan), Casey, Peter, and of course Andrew. My soon to be husband, he just doesn't know it yet.

Casey looked over at me and her face lit up. "Gorgeous girl! Isn't she gorgeous Andrew?" Casey said, trying to get a compliment out of him.

"Yeah, you look good", that's the best of a compliment I'll get out of him.

"Aww honey, you look so beautiful! And on your special day!" My mom exclaims.

Peter looked annoyed, but kinda handsome. Black flowy hair with a nice black button down shirt. Sleeves rolled up to the elbows and black pants. "It's my birthday too, let not forget", Peter explains.
