Elle
I had no plan on going back to school, but here I am right now, on my way to campus to get my ID picture taken.
As I set foot outside of campus, I admired the exterior, well, it is a beautiful university after all. Then I head inside.
I honestly don't know where to go exactly, the maps were confusing, and it is a pretty big university, with a bunch of buildings for each department.
Looking around, I exclaimed as I accidentally bumped into a tall guy, though it was my fault for not being aware of my surroundings, I glared up at him, and saw him also glaring at me.
"Excuse you." He says, and walks away.
I was about to argue, but noticed the direction he was heading, and noticed a familiar building. "Shit", I thought to myself because I think that's where I needed to go.
I quickly ran and grabbed onto this stranger's sleeves, making him walk slower, remove one ear of his headphones, and lean down a bit. "What?"
"Are you also getting your ID picture taken? Can we go there together?" I asked, and he nodded in response. "Sure, I guess."
There's just an awkward silence I'm feeling, and then I speak. "Sorry about earlier, by the way..." I said, but then when I looked over to him, he didn't even hear me with his headphones on, making me roll my eyes. "Nevermind..."
Finally reaching the building, I went in on my own as he went and approached a group of people outside. Luckily, I'm the only one who had to get my picture taken so I didn't have to line up, but I still had to wait for a bit because I'll immediately get the ID, which is so cool.
After, I sat over the very soft couches on the side, and I noticed how the guy and, I guess his friends, were looking over in my direction. They went inside, and kind of recognised the ginger girl with them, not exactly sure where I saw her though.
"Hey, you're Armelle, right? We're mutual on Instagram!" Oh, yeah I remember now. Ranita, @ranranaway04 on Instagram, she's from my junior high school but we weren't classmates, but she reached out to me after realizing I will be attending the same college and program as her.
Then she went and introduced every one of her friends to me. The very attractive blonde guy named Ashton, The auburn-haired girl named Katie, a very mean-looking and also attractive light brown-haired guy named Felix, and lastly, the tall guy, with black hair, and big glasses, that was just with me, named Londell. "But I guess you've already met him right?" She asked, as I looked at him for some reason, I suddenly felt my heart beating faster as I made eye contact with him, so I immediately looked away and back to Ran. "Yeah, well, I bumped into him." I awkwardly explained.
"Yeah, you did." He sassed, making me look over to him, and raising my eyebrows in response.
"Oh, I feel like you guys would get along pretty quickly," Ashton said as I looked at him confusedly.
"You'll see. Just wait, maybe a few days or so."
Then they invited me to the mall to get something to eat with them after I got my ID. Of course, I would say yes. I honestly didn't think I'd have people to hang out with in school. Yes, I am a social media personality, but everything on the internet's a facade after all. Nothing's real, to be honest.
Londell's thoughts
I'm late again. Well, what's new?
Ran said she's with the others already. To be honest, I'm nervous to meet the rest of them. Well, I've talked to them online, but only Ran is the one I know as she was my elementary classmate.
But of course, though I am nervous, I am pretty excited to meet them, especially Felix. I've been eyeing him for a bit now, well, eyeing him means stalking him online, of course.
Lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice the short brunette girl bumping into me like a lost kitten. "Excuse you," I said. Did that come out a bit harsh? Oh God. I quickly walked away to avoid any argument. "That's embarrassing." I thought to myself, but then suddenly felt tugging on my sleeves, I looked and it was the girl again, so I removed my headphones and asked, "What?" God, at this point this lady probably thinks I'm mean or something.
"Are you also getting your ID picture taken? Can we go there together?" she asked, and I nodded in response. "Sure, I guess."
I put back my headphones, and I noticed how she still hadn't removed her hands from my sleeves, but after a bit, she did remove them when we were getting closer to the building.
She went inside on her own, then I headed over to Ran. "Hey, I know her! Or I think know her." I looked at her in question.
"Oh, it's just that she's actually a social media personality and also a schoolmate of mine. She's sweet, though had this reputation of being a bit mean." She explained, making me nod in response. She does seem sweet and kind though, to be honest.
