BACKSTORY!

- a long time before shi huaban was born, there was a flower that stood strong as stone.

- when it first grew, it withstood the strongest of winds and harshest of cold.

- after many, many years of withstanding all these conditions, time slowly chipped at it.

- after a bit, one delicate petal parted from the flower, being swept away by the wind.

- it was said that the petal flew for a very, very, long time in thal-ba. it landed in the water with a slow fall.

- that petal birthed a lady who later went by the name shi huaban, when she first opened her eyes, she was amazed by the sights of the world.

- there was a blue sky, frigid winds and waters, it was fascinating to her.

- she started exploring thal-ba. she found new concepts, and learnt about all the emotions.

- one of the concepts she wanted to learn was freedom. being new to the world, she didnt know how to wrap her head around it.

- one day, she was sat near a tiny batch of flowers.

- it was a relaxing day. she had no plans in mind, she just wanted to see the world.

- she picked up a flower, and out of boredom, picked a petal, and watched it blow away into the wind.

- she thought for a bit, and picked off another petal. and another. they all flew off into the wind, landing in different spots.

- she got an idea, wondering to herself ' is this what freedom is like? '

- thinking about it further, she started to understand the concept of freedom. petals are always attatched. unless winds or disaster tear them off, they cannot detach by themselves.

- but if she were to pick them off, its like granting them freedom. they fly away into the wind, able to move, fall, explore..

- of course, they cannot grow a pair of legs. but she thought about it. the wind carries them when their picked off of the flower, they get to explore the world.

- piecing her newfound discoveries together, she finally understood the concept of freedom, what it meant and what it was like to be free.

- as she marvelled at her new discovery, an anemo vision was granted to her, and to this day, she has kept it in pristine condition.

- later on, during the time war was waged on thal-ba, she was horrified. she remembered every single detail of what they did to thal-ba, and swore that she would make use of her anemo vision to hopefully take them down in the future.

- she trained, gaining inspiration from one of the guardians of thal-ba, hudie. ( this is @enskripticons oc !! )

- it took her a long, long time to become capable of taking down opponents. at first, she struggled, often blowing things in her direction rather than out.
