Chapter 15

Begin Again

Mix put his phone on their kitchen table and started to prepare some coffee for him and Earth. 

After Earth asked for both of them to start over, they actually did it.

Earth, without any hesitation introduced himself to Mix in full. From long names, jobs, hobbies up to his personal preferences. Mix was certainly surprised by the way they presented each other. But he didn't mind any of it and just go with the flow.

For the past three days, they had agreed to rebuild their relationship by starting up with some small new routines. 

Such as having a breakfast together before Earth went to work and having a night talk session in the evening before going to bed.

Honestly, it felt awkward, but both of them push themselves with their hearts and minds for it.

Earth was suggesting that they start living together in the same room, but Mix refused. He wasn't ready yet.

"Today I'll be back a little late Phi."

Mix says as he hands in Earth coffee when the elder just arrive to their dining table.

"Okay." Earth shot respond.

Earth is the kind of person who doesn't do small talk. He just can't and that is just who he is. This is what often makes both of them misunderstood each other and ends with a fights when they talk.

But, this time Mix begin to realized and start to understand his husband better, he knew that sometimes Earth just needed further encouragement to talk.

"What time will you come back?" Mix gladly sigh with a little smile as the elder proceed their conversation by himself.

"Around 9 PM maybe?" Mix answer as he now join Earth seating at the dining table.

They continue to talk with all the random question that each can throw out to each other in order to initiate the conversation. Mix who is always a chatty person, begin to run out of idea. While Earth, didn't think much of it and just be ready to answer all of the younger questions.

Once done, Earth will leave for work and left Mix to finish his breakfast.

'At least there's something...' Mix said to calm himself.

First could only sigh after he listed to Mix's story, while Khaotung were now looking at Mix's new phone. Mix and First last class of the day just ended an hour ago, when Khaotung who had patiently waiting for them as his class had finished earlier, just listen to Mix story.

"I've told you, all you need to do is open up yourself and talk to him, he will listen." First point out Mix stupidity.

All they need is to communicate, no matter how hard or awkward it's going to be.

"Mix, sorry..." Khaotung suddenly break his silent.

"Since you've been with Earth, what are the things that he gave you?" Mix feels a little bit confused with whatever Khao were trying to say.

"There's a lot, why?" Khao sigh with Mix answers.

"Are you sure with whatever he gave you, it's just for the sake of responsibility?"

"Hah?!" Now, it was First were getting confused.

Khao pointed out to Mix's new phone. His phone is the latest model, which is where most people were still on pre-order basis and not yet available in the market.
