Soyeon was currently wandering around. She knew she shouldn't be feeling this way but, Cha Soyeon was bored.

She didn't have anything to do, but she was waiting for the voting to end as she had cast her vote a while back, for Park Woo ram.

Now, she was wandering. One thing she would've done was find her cousin but she knew he was with his girlfriend so she didn't want to be the third wheel.

So instead, she went back to her room. She opened her phone,  sat on her bed, and started to scroll through her gallery.

For a while, the place had gone quiet. Soyeon had reached the oldest photo on her phone, it was a cat. She smiled at the cat as it was the one her uncle had given her as her aunt gifted her the phone.

She stared at the cat photo for a few minutes before she heard a knock. The girl looked at the door in wonder. "Who is it?" she questioned the person on the other side of the door.

"uh, It's Jin Da bum"

A continuous laugh from a girl awoke Jin Da bum up as he discreetly looked behind him and saw Soyeon hollering as Kyung jun was tickling her.

A frown formed on the boy's face as he looked at his phone and increased the volume of his music. Ju won, beside him, furrowed his brows. He removed the headphones from Da bum's head

"yah, lower it down, will you? I can hear from here"  Da bum looked down as he stared at his wallpaper. It was a girl. It was Cha Soyeon. She was wearing a dress that showed her slim shoulders as she was facing the camera while the sunset was behind her, the light giving the girl a nice shade.

"I suggest you change that" the boy beside him whispered, "You know how Kyung jun is, you wouldn't want him to know that you like his girlfriend"

He made a point but he was too attracted to the girl, she was like a drug. A drug that Jin Da bum was told to stay away yet he couldn't. He knew getting close to her would ruin him but he didn't care, he would let that drug ruin him. He doesn't care if he's stealing that drug from someone else, as long as he got it, he doesn't care.

He woke up and looked around anxiously. He saw Kim So mi, Park Woo ram, Oh Jung won, Ye-won and his friend, Ju won rise. The lighting was a dark red color, almost like blood. He remembered that night like it was a photograph. How Heo yool almost ran him over.

But now, he knew what to do to survive this place as he placed Soyeon's head gently on the ground and made his way toward Jung won and the others. They were at the Assembly hall.

"So, who should be killed?" Kim So mi said, Jung won and looked at her "Someone from our group died, it's just us now" Woo ram said as Da bum stayed silent. He was the Mafia, but the girl he liked wasn't.

"I wanna kill that bastard Kyung jun" Kim So mi gritted her teeth as Jung won looked at her with raised brow "Why?"

"He voted for me!" Jung won and rolled her eyes at the girl. "No, I'm gonna kill his bitch so he can feel the pain. You can't feel the pain if you're asleep but if someone died.... Yeah, I'll kill Soyeon" So mi looked at Soyeon's defenseless body and made her way toward the girl.

Jung won looked panicked, her eyes were darting from friend to friend, as if she was looking for anyone to kill in exchange for Soyeon as Da bum did the same.

"Yah! So mi don't!" while they were busy, So mi had already started stepping on the girl, she started at her ankle. "Yah! We should think this through" Da bum interfered.

"Can I kill someone?" they looked at Woo ram in surprise. They never thought he would be the one suggesting someone. "I wanna kill Joo young"

In the end, they decided to kill the girl and leave Soyeon alone, for now.  Jin Da bum looked at the bruise that was forming on Soyeon's ankle.

He was about to go over but stopped as the PA announced there was only a minute until the others would be waking up. He ran towards his previous spot and lay there as if he had not just moved.

"Jin Da bum?" Soyeon furrowed her brows, wondering why he was there. Da bum, on the other hand, was on the brink of losing his mind.

"I wanna tell you something, it's been a while. I just wanted to say this befor-" Da bum was cut off by the PA 

"I'm Park Woo ram" they heard the boy's voice. Soyeon's eyes widened, she had known Kyung jun would be doing something like this.

"I'm Mafia. I killed Lee Joo young. I wasn't planning to do it at first but I was mad because she humiliated me. She always belittled me and I always wanted to kill her for it" They heard his voice crack, and soon a sobbing voice was audible before the PA cut off.

Soyeon and Da bum looked at each other, worry was seen in their eyes. One was worried for a friend while one was worried about losing a friend or a fellow Mafia maybe?

They dashed to the broadcasting room where Woo ram was already outside and was being tended to while Kyung jun was being confronted by Jun hee and Hyun ho.

"Woo ram!" Soyeon yelled as she and Da bum ran toward the boy and started inspecting his wounds.

"Park Ji soo voted for Park Woo ram" 

"Cha Yoo joon voted for Park Woo ram"

This caused Woo ram to look at Kyung jun with a glint in his eyes and before they knew it, the former dashed and slammed the door.

"I should've killed Kyung jun in the first place" Soyeon took a step back, he was the Mafia, huh? She saw Hyun ho trying to stop the boy but the boy had managed to push Hyun ho away and made his way toward Jun hee and grabbed the axe the boy had.

Soyeon surprised herself by pulling Woo ram by the tie after he tried swinging the axe at Kyung jun, which the boy luckily dodged.

"Stop!" Soyeon yelled at the boy, pulling him by the collar, and slightly choking the boy. Jun hee pulled the girl back as he feared the girl might do something stupid and hurt herself.

Kyung jun fixated his eyes on Woo ram while he crawled to get out of the room. Soyeon yelled for him worriedly because Woo ram was chasing him.

"Kyung jun!"

"I'll bring you down with me you bastard"  Woo ram yelled, "Even if I don't kill you, the other Mafia will kill you eventually. Die you Jerk!" the boy swung his axe as the other kids were screaming and afraid to interfere even Hyun ho.

"Voting is over"

Soyeon gazed at the wall in front of her, she was relieved that it was midnight.

"Park Woo ram with the most votes will be executed"

Soyeon, despite her ankle, limped towards Kyung jun hurriedly as he stood up shakily and opened his arms which Soyeon dived into and hugged his waist tightly. 

They both turned their gaze to Woo ram who slowly lifted the weapon. He lifted it close to his head and struck it, red liquid sprayed on Kyung jun's face as Soyeon wasn't due to her head buried in Kyung jun's chest.

They all stared at the lifeless body before them. The siren blared as it announced Park Woo ram was the Mafia.

Kyung jun stood up, his face mixed with fear and smugness. He was cocky about how he was right. But if you squint harder, you can find small bits of protectiveness as he gripped at Soyeon's waist.

"I told you" he croaked, Soyeon grabbed him and was about to drag him where Jin ha and Seung bin were but Kyung jun had already beat her to it and started dragging her towards the Cafe.

After Kyung jun moved, it moved a chain as the other kids were starting to leave.
