I was having my lunch with my friends in the university's cafeteria when I saw him with our Dean !!
"What is he doing here ??"
I thought in my head , I tried to hide myself under the table. My friends were looking at me in confusion.
" What happened? "
Rohn asked me, I signaled him to shush. They all looked around in confusion, searching for the person I was hiding from.
But I think heaven isn't my side! I got caught !!!
" Miss bhatt ?? "
My Dean called my name, I closed my eyes in embarrassment.
" Ahh !! Here it is !! "
I acted like I was searching something under the table.
" ohh !! Hello sir !! "
We all greeted. I tried to ignore him and eye contacts with him.
" Meet Mr.Ambrose Rochefort, the CEO of Scarlet&Co. Our university's chairperson and also your project's main sponsor, so from now on you will brief him every details or progress on the project. Okay ? "
I looked at him in disbelief. I need to brief him ?? And above that every detail !!
I was lost in my thoughts when our Dean again called my name.
" Ohh !! Hii ...nice to meet you ...sir ! "
I faked my smile towards him. He shook hands with a big smile on his face.
" Now you won't be able to ignore me !! See you everyday, chipmunk ...!!"
I looked at him in shock, is he here because I ignored him ? Noway!!
" What you want ?? Why are you here ?? "
I asked him after pulling him to the corner when everyone got busy in their work.
" Why ?? You will give me what I want ? "
" Was it a joke ? "
" No !! "
" Good, because I don't like jokes "
" But I like you ! "
" What ?? "
" By the way !! Are you the descendant of Mr. Arya bhatta who discovered zero !!"
He curiously asked .
" Are you crazy ?? No !!! "
" why ? But you share same surname with him !! "
" Sharing same name or surname doesn't mean we are relatives !! "

Rachel's pov ~~
I was on my way back home, I thought of a surprise to give Jerry . But then I saw a man stalking her.
But then soon he left. Maybe I'm overthinking. I shrugged off the thoughts and went to our shared home.
" Jerry!!!!!! "
Her eyes shined in excitement, she ran and hugged me .
" I missed you so much !! "
She said, I chuckled at her cuteness.
" Aww !! My little Jerry missed me ? "
" So muchhhhh !!! "
I changed into my pajamas. After making dinner for us we sat on the sofa and Jerry told me everything that happened with her.
" What ???? You saved whom ???? "
" Ambrose Rochefort!!! "
" The Mafia boss, Ambrose?? "
" Nooo, he's the CEO of Scarlet &Co. "
" He's a mafia bro !!!! They say he's the most dangerous mafia of france. "
" What ???? And Who are "They" ?? "
" People in News !! "
She chuckled when I said that.
" Why are you laughing ? "
" People from that field are the number one drama lovers. They make stories and add masala in that. And trust me they live for that "
" Humm ... But everyone knows he's the mafia boss and hides his identity in disguise of a businessman "
" Whatever !!! "
"But wait!! Why is he following you around ?"
I asked Jerry, does he like her ??
" Exactly that's what I'm thinking. Does he......."
She narrowed her eyes while tilting her heads , she tried hard to figure it out.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking ?"
I asked her in excitement, well as an author how can I hate mafias and villains? But her reply really made me sigh.
" Humm... I think he wants to steal our project !!! "
" What ?? "
This girl is really impossible.
" Jerry he's the richest man of france and may be on this plant too. Why would he want your project ? "
" You don't know this Ameer peoples, they want to possess every good thing, their thirst for money never ends !! "
" Okay! You are impossible!! "
I just sighed and went to sleep after wishing her a good night.
I always wait for her to come home after her works end.
I saw Jerry coming , I got excited but wait !! Who's that man behind her ??
He's the same person I saw the other day, is he one of Ambrose's enemies ?
That's why he's following her ?
Wait !! He stopped her ?? Is he trying to kidnap her ??
I'll never let that happen.
I grabbed one wooden stick and smashed him on his head .
" Bitch !! Trying to kidnap my bestie?? Not in my presence you Bastard "
I said while standing in front of Jerry covering her with my body.
" Are you okay ?? "
I asked Jerry, she was standing there in shock.
" Oh my god !!! Mr.Josh !!! Are you okay ????......"
What ???
I looked at her in confusion , she was checking on him. Why ??
Then I looked at the man who was lying on the ground while holding his head with his hands.
" Do...do you know him ??? "
