Narrator

Y/n and Haerin ended watching movies until they passed out on the couch. Neither of them wanted to leave the other's arms.

Even when they'd wake up at different times throughout the night, the pair would just smile and snuggle closer to the other.

- Haerin POV -

Being in Y/n's arms just felt right.

It was warm, soft, and safe.

"You okay?" Y/n suddenly asked.

"Mhm," I hummed out.

"Should I move you to my bed?" Y/n softly followed.

"Mhm," I shyly answered.

Y/n then gently picked me up in their arms and carried me to their bed. It was still a bit too dark for me to look around the room a bit, but I could tell Y/n's new bed was bigger than their old one.

"Where are you going?" I sleepily mumbled, once I noticed Y/n start to leave the room.

"I'm going back to the couch," Y/n softly answered.

"Nuh uh, I want you to sleep with me," I shyly refused the idea.

"Are you sure? You're not mad at me anymore?" Y/n cutely rubbed their sleepy eyes.

"I'm not mad anymore. Just come to bed," I whispered.

Y/n did as I asked and got under the covers with me. It didn't take long before I found my way back to into Y/n's arms.

"Are you warm enough?" I felt a soft kiss on my forehead.

"Mhm, are you?" I nuzzled my head into Y/n's chest.

"Mhm," Y/n responded.

For the rest of the night, I couldn't not be in Y/n's arms. I didn't want Y/n to leave me again, but this time it was different....

Being in Y/n's arms felt different than it did when we were growing up.

I always had a little crush on Y/n growing up, but it never felt like this. It never felt like all I wanted was to be by Y/n's side.

Usually, I wanted to be in Y/n's arms so I wouldn't feel lost, lonely, or afraid, but this felt more like I just wanted them to love me.

Only me.

- Y/N POV-

Haerin was being oddly cute.

I knew once the sleepiness had settled down she'd go back to hating me, but I didn't mind. I was just glad she was back in my arms.

Eventually, Haerin and I fell back asleep.

*BUZZ, BUZZ*

*DING, DONG, DING*

*BUZZ, BUZZ*

An assortment of noises, along with Haerin shaking me awake, ended up waking me up the next morning.

"Y/n, there's someone at your door," Haerin kept on shaking me.

"Uuurgghh!" I lazily lifted my body up from my bed and walked over to open the front door.

"Surprise!!" I was suddenly startled.

It was Hanni and Minji.

"Right, forgot I invited you guys," I awkwardly chuckled

"Right, forgot I invited you guys," I awkwardly chuckled.

I had genuinely forgotten that I had finally decided to tell the pair where I had been this whole time.

"How can you forget?!" Hanni cutely pouted.

"Seriously, we're like the most important people in your life!" Minji playfully rolled her eyes.

"Right," I rolled my eyes back.

"Come on in," I finally invited the girls in, greeting each one with a kiss on the cheek.

"Oh, Haerin. You're here too!" Hanni suddenly exclaimed.

"Umm, yeah

"Umm, yeah. But I got to go 'cus I have class," Haerin answered her, as she put her shoes on.

"Oh okay," Hanni looked at me a bit oddly.

"Well, maybe we can all get together sometime soon and grab a bite to eat or something," Minji suggested.

"Yeah, I'd love to!" Haerin cutely answered.

"I'll see you later," Haerin suddenly kissed my cheek goodbye before respectfully saying goodbye to the girls.

- Danielle POV -

"Oh, you two cuddled?" I tried not to sound jealous while Haerin told me what happened with Y/n during dinner.

"Mhm, We watched movies and cuddled like we used to!" Haerin kept on smiling like crazy while she told me her story.

I was trying to hide the fact that I didn't like any of what Haerin was saying, but it seemed like I wasn't doing a very good job at it when Haerin suddenly asked.... "Is that a problem?"

"What?! No," I tried to play it off.

To be honest, I never felt like I had the right to tell Haerin that her relationship with Y/n bothered me. They had been like that towards each other since they were kids. It felt like me saying something about it would just make it seem like I was making accusations.

"Are you sure? You don't sound too convincing right now," Haerin looked a me a bit unsure.

"Yeah, I'm just feeling a little sick today. I'm happy that you and Y/n are bonding again. I'm sure those 8 months felt like hell for you," I tried to reason with her, while also trying to rationalize things for myself.

"Yeah, it felt like it was never going to end," Haerin's smile suddenly faded.

"But you two are back together now! So, that's good!" I tried to cheer her back up.

"Yeah," Haerin seemed all blue again.

"Are you alright?" I tried to ask.

"Yeah, I'm just a little tired," Haerin started walking over to her room.

I sighed out in frustration with myself and walked over to check on her, but Haerin seemed a little too depressed to want to be bothered. So instead, I decided to make tea until she willingly wanted to talk to me.
