Teaching had always been her passion. She could remember being a small child, lining up her dolls and Teddy Bears and pretending to teach a classroom full of students.
When she fully qualified, she worked in a small town high school with only a few hundred students.
She knew she would encounter challenging behaviour and, in turn, deal with potentially challenging parents who refused to acknowledge their child's behaviour.
However, she never expected one child and his parents to bring her so much love, pain and heartbreak.

With this story being completely AU, some characters may appear out of character. If this is not for you, I don't recommend continuing with this book or any others on my page.
This book doesn't particularly character bash Lori; however, it doesn't show her in a great light either, but Rick also doesn't come across as great.
Lastly, I have tried to use American terminology as much as possible, but I'm sure I have slipped up. Spelling will be English (UK), so there's not much need to correct me with words such as colour - color, realise - realize etc.
