Today is Thursday which means we only have one more day till spring break, which I need for what happened yesterday and my fight with will ,yet when I step into school and walk through the hallway I see that everyone is there small little friend groups whispering, weird to say the least I mean they are usually but then so closed off . I see max , Lucas ,jane and Dustin huddle in at Jane's locker . they see me walking towards them max waves me over to our little friend group , as I approach them max starts talking " dim shit , did you hear what they are saying?" She says in a more serious tone than her usual tone of voice " no, what happened." I asked when I finally made it to our group " they're saying Will's a vampire." Oh.oh no. "WHAT " i yelled knowing exactly what she was talking about , and knowing that it is all my fault that now there is a rumor that could get my best friend killed, and all of that just because I was confused about something that happened before school." Yeah , I know right like why would they think that , this school is filled with idiots ." Max continues as I stood on her right in silence , that was the only thing I could do at that moment.
A few minutes later the whole hallway goes dead silent and when we turn to see why we see will coming into view with a nervous face as he looks around at everyone that stares back at him in silence, he continues to look it the crowd of faces until his eyes fall onto the face of our friend group's , his eyes flicker across all our friends concerned faces just then for them to fall to mine and immediately flicker down to the ground as he makes his way over to us . "Why is everyone staring at me ?" He uttered so quietly that I could nearly hear him despite being right next to him " they think you're a vampire." Jane whispers back , and with that wills eyes widen and his skin becomes paler , he honestly looks sick from the information that had been given to him , then his eyes gaze up at me then I feel his hand gripping my forearm in a firm manner, so firm that it was actually kind of painful. He dragged me away to an empty class room but just as Will's hand grips the doornobe we hear some guy probably a jock from the joke scream " YO, WILL'S ABOUT TO SUCK WHEELER'S BLOOD !" and then the hallway exploded with grasps and giggles as will turned the doornobe and threw me into the classroom. When I study myself from being thrown into the room I turn around to see will looking at with a face that looked as if you say one wrong thing he would break down , as he released multiple shaky breaths I tried to apologize " look will I'm sorry ,I didn't know that there was someone in there I mean , how am I supposed to guess that someone was going to be skipping in that exact bathroom like we have two." "Why couldn't you just wait till school to end ?" He asked but it sounded more like a choked up sob "i-i don't know ." I explained I mean there really wasn't a reason that I couldn't wait until after school other than that I was impatient " look will I'm sorr-" " just go mike." "What ?" "Go back to our friends and act like nothing happened." And that's what I did, and when I walked out and heard the same guy that shouted the first time scream again saying " WHEELER'S NOT DEAD " which let's all be serious that it wasn't even that funny the first time . After that I went to class and after every period I would go ask one of Will's classmates if he was in class and the answer was always 'no' I don't know where he disappeared off to .
