BILLY HARGROVE'S POV, NOVEMBER 13, 1984:

I put on my jean denim jacket and grab my car keys off my nightstand. I began to walk towards the door when Dad stopped me.

"You better get those answers to what happened to my boy, Billy!" He demanded.

Why doesn't he care about me?

I nod and walk out the house, got in my car, and drove to the station. I sat there anxiously, looking at the time.

"How much longer?" I asked myself.

It felt like it was years, but it was only a twenty minute wait. They finally called my name.

"Billy Hargrove," a police officer yelled.

I grab my jacket off the table and walked over to him.

"Chief Hopper wants to see you in his office," the officer stated.

I nod and walk over to his office and knocked on the door.

"Come in!" He said.

I walk in his office and sat down.

"Morning, Mr. Hargrove."

I didn't say a word.

"Can you tell me what happened the night Bryan went missing?" He asked.

I tried to think hard of what had happen that night since I didn't see him at all. It finally hit me. I was suppose to watch Max and Bryan that night. I took a deep breath before talking.

"I was suppose to watch my little siblings, but I went to a high school party instead. But before I left the house, me and Bryan got into a huge and I mean huge argument over something stupid. I was so upset and wasn't paying attention to him at all. When I got home that night, I saw my family and Bryan's girlfriend all crying and freaking out. I was so confused and it finally hit me that Bryan didn't come home."

Hopper was writing all this stuff down as I was told him that whole story.

"Okay, we will do our best to find him, Mr. Hargrove."

Was that it? Does he even care?

I looked at him dead in the eye. I had so much rage in me that I just wanted to yell at him. If only my dad didn't get with that woman, maybe my brother wouldn't be missing!

I grab my jacket, walked out of the room and slammed the door, and walked to my car. I sat there in the parking lot for five minutes before actually driving off.

If he won't look for him, then I will.

I went back home to grab a flashlight and walked into Max's room.

"Come on. We're going to find Bryan together," I stated.

"But Chief Hopper said-"

"I don't care what Chief Hopper said. We are going to look for him!" I yelled. I shouldn't have yelled at her, but I did.

She nods as she got out of bed, grabbing her flashlight and walkie-talkie.

"Here, take the extra one!" Max said, insisting.

I took one of her walkie-talkies and we went to the car. We pull up to the neighborhood Bryan was last seen at. I kept looking at the photo of what we called ourselves, "The Core 4." I finally put the photo down and got out of the car.

We looked everywhere.

"Bryan?!"

No response.

I kept walking around until I heard Max screaming.

"Billy, Billy! I found something!"

I ran over to her as fast as I could.

"What is it?!" I asked.

"His walkie-talkie! He never leaves without it!" She stated.

I picked up the walkie-talkie as I only heard static.

"Let's go home. This is probably enough evidence for tonight," I said as I smiled at Max.

When we walked back to the car, I heard somebody on the other end, sounding just like Bryan.

"Billy?"
