SPENCER ALVAEZ'S POV, December 3, 1984:
It's been two days since Bryan and Gwen got out of the Upside Down and today was the day that me and Amelie got out of the Upside Down. I began to walk to my house with Amelie and I open the door all dirty and slimy from the Upside Down. I see my mom running to me and hugging me tightly.
"My daughter... she's home!" She stated as she was choking on her words.
"Hi, Mama," I whispered as I hugged her back.
"Oh, and you must be Amelie!" My mom said as she hugged her also.
Amelie looked at me and I shrugged. Amelie went ahead and hugged her back and chuckled.
"Mrs. Alvarez, it's wonderful to finally meet you!" She stated.
My dad came walking over and was in utter shock that I came home. He picked me up from off the ground and held me close to him. Surprisingly, he can still left me up.
"Hi, Papa. I missed you so much!" I stated.
"I missed you too, kid," He said as he puts me off the ground.
His shirt was all slimy and he looked down at his shirt. I grab Amelie's hand and we run to my room where I turned on my TV, watching a movie. Amelie was able to call her mom and her step-dad, letting them know that she was with me.
The movie stopped as it turned to the news instead. I look at Amelie and she was already looking at me. We exchanged confused looks and look back to the TV.
"This is Hawkins Number One News, reporting live at the Hawkins Lab. A teen girl, who escaped the lab, has mysteriously closed the gate to the other dimension known as the Upside Down where those four missing kids were found at."
The news stopped and the movie went back to playing. Looks like good stories have happy endings after all.
