breathe in, breathe out.

the rabbits small nostrils flare wide open, it's eyes elsewhere. it's a small target she's chosen, which stood for a challenge. her fingers pull back farther on the already taught string of her bow, forcing her top lip to curl upwards as she presses the string against her face, resting it softly on her cheek. she looks straight ahead, aligning her eyes with the sharp tip of the arrow, pointing in direction the small animal only a few yards in front of her.

let it fly.

"how much you think that's gotta cost hm?"

her head whips in the direction of the sudden sound, the aim she had just perfected quickly becoming lost. the turns back toward the rabbit, realizing the small animal had also heard the noise, becoming startled itself.

the small brown creature begins to sprint as she hurriedly attempts to regain her aim on the animal.

she lets go of the string, allowing the arrow to shoot forward.
