Third person POV

Payu was staring at the phone for what seemed like hours, when he finally answered it seemed urgent.

"Hello, Pa what wrong?" Payu said with worry

"I...I have something important to tell you, promises me you won't yell or freak out..." Vegas said with a depressing tone

"Pa your really scaring me what the fuck is going on!"

"I...I am stepping down from the minor family"

"What...why this is your pride. Why would you do all that for nothing."

"But it's not for nothing, I want you to take over"

Payus eyes widened with shocked, Payu wanted out of the mafia not to be the head of the minor family. What fucked up thing is this man talking about.

"Why would I take over! I don't even want to be apart of this, pick someone else there is no way in hell I'm doing this. It could put Rain in danger I finally got him to forgive me. You take this and shove it up your ass."

"Venice... I-" Vegas said sounding desperate.

"I told you it's not fucking Venice anymore so stop calling me that."

"Look, your the only person who can take over your the heir by blood, if you like it or not. Just think it over please. If not for me then at least do it for your Pa'Pete.

Payu hates it when Vegas brings his Pa'Pete into this, how can such a bad guy love a angel like him. Vegas knows that he hit a nerve when he said that.

"Look, I'll think about it ok just give me a week or two" and with that Payu hangs up.

He didn't have any time to think about this right now he just wants to make sure that Rain is ok.

He went up to check on him. Rain was fast asleep in the bed, still naked and with hickeys all over his body from the night before. He noticed that that Rain was looking rather pale. He went and felt his forehead and he was burning up.

"Rain are you feeling ok" he said with worry

Rain slowly opens his eyes and immediately ran to the bathroom and got sick. Payu quickly ran after him, rubbing his back while he was vomiting.

"Baby, are you alright?"

"Yea im fine! I have loads to do today I have an assignment I need to do." He says as he tries to cover up his cough.

"There is no way I'm letting you go like this" Payu said.

"But-" Rain tried to speak but Payu cut him off.

"But nothing, im not taking no for a answer so get back into that bed right now."

As Rain got back into bed, Payu tucked him in and gave him a peck on his forehead and checking his temperature once more.

"Can...can you stay here still i fall asleep" Rain said with barley any strength to talk.

"Of course I will baby" Payu curled up into the side of rain. Rains head was resting on his arm and Payu had his face in Rains hair, just sitting there admiring his boyfriend.

As soon as Payu seen that Rain was fast asleep, he carefully placed Rains head in the pillow and went to kitchen. He came back up with a wet cloth.

He started wiping Rain down with the wet cloth. He was trying to be gental so not wake up Rain.

Payu went downstairs to let Rain rest. He prepared a tray with his favourite soup, some water and medicine. He headed back up a hour later to see Rain still passed out in their bed.

He places the tray on his bedside table. He checked Rains temperature to see that he was still burning up. This was starting to make Payu really worried. Payu carefully shook his shoulders to wake Rain up.

"Baby, wake up. You need to eat some food"

Rain slowly opened his eyes and tried to sit up.

"Careful, do it slowly your still weak"

Payu helped Rain sit up supporting his back.

"I'm not hungry P..."

Hearing that Rain has lost his appetite had really make Payu even more worried. Rain always loves his food.

"Rain... you have to eat, if your not gonna eat atleast take your medicine." Payu said worryingly

"Now take your medicine and get some rest" Payu lays Rain back down slowly and tucked him in giving him a peck in the forehead.

He went downstairs to let Rain rest. He couldn't stop thinking what was he was supposed to do, he just wants to be done but at the same time it's been drilled into him that this was going to happen all his childhood.
