It has been precisely two weeks since Carter not so infiltrated more like barged in the Alliet manor and forced a friendship between him and Theodore

"What did you find out?" Adrian looks at Carter's expression that looks like a mix of confusion, guilt and amusement

"So... He's not planning something evil, quite the opposite actually"

Vincent raises his head away from some documents "what's keeping him busy then? "

"He's a father, and he's spending time with his daughter, the reason he's busy is because they're doing all sorts of things like, painting, horseback riding, making poetry, I even introduced my own son to his daughter"

"Your saying that Theodore has a child, and that's what's been keeping him from making trouble" Gabriel scoffs unbelieving what was said

"With the amount of people he's slept I was surprised he didn't have a child" Vincent laughs

"Oh you have to! Try visiting there, he's very attentive with children, he may have been a whore but now he's a father" Carter pleads

Confused, amused and a bit irritated Gabriel mocks Carter "why are you defending him, don't tell me like the prostitutes from the entertainment district you've been charmed by him as well? "

"No, I'm saying you should see him for yourself"

"Right, right, so we could see what you see in him?" Gabriel laughs at Carter stopping so low to even defend Theodore

"you people are grown men with children stop acting like kids" Adrian sighs in dissapointment

After a few seconds of silence Vincent notices that Adrian is thinking deeply

He gets tired of waiting so Vincent asks instead "What is it? What are you thinking about? "

"Well if we are planning to overthrow the Hayes, we need a family who has at least some history or as much as them, the Alliet's have also been here since the start of the Empire, you said he has a daughter and I have a son, if I can convince Theodore to have them engaged..."
