Jungwon wakes up.
The first thing that pops in his head is that Jay's arms are wrapped around his waist, while his own are enveloping Jay's body in an embrace. His face was buried in the warmth of Jay's chest, and he finds himself leaning to close the gap of his skin and Jay's shirt once again, burrowing his face on Jay as he savors the heat Jay was radiating.
He inhales. Jay has this specific scent. The very faint whiff of his perfume that smells woody, his clothes that always had the same fragrance from his laundry routine, and the subtle hint of lotion he moisturizes on his skin. Jungwon can't help but inhale his scent once again. It's addicting. It's something one's nose can only register from being so close to Jay.
"Mmm," Jay squeezes Jungwon's waist, making him look at Jay with a chuckle as he's met with a sleepy smile from the latter. "Morning," Jay softly says, staring at Jungwon's eyes.
"Morning," Jungwon mumbles back. He glances at the digital clock on Jay's bedside table and sighs. "I should go home."
"Hmm, stay," Jay murmurs as he hugs Jungwon tighter, leaning his face against his neck and his upper body hovering over Jungwon, making Jungwon laugh softly, although he does slightly shudder.
"Stop, it tickles," Jungwon laughs, his hand grabbing Jay's hair.
Jay looks at Jungwon with a smile. Their faces are so close like this, yet they don't bother pulling away. Like the proximity was normal, as if many moons ago they hadn't been staying away from each other when they sat on the couch with Sunghoon and Sunoo teaching them how to be more natural as a fake couple.
"I'm serious," Jay mutters, feeling Jungwon's fingertips brushing along his hair. "I'm gonna cook breakfast. Plump you up real good and send you to the oven," Jay jokes, grinning as he gently grips on Jungwon's hips.
"Well sorry, mister," Jungwon smiles, "you'll have to wait months for that to happen."
Jay chuckles, letting go of Jungwon although he props his elbow on a pillow to keep him slightly up, still towering over Jungwon. He gently pinches Jungwon's cheek with his free hand. "You'd be so cute if you had your chubby cheeks back."
"I'm already cute," Jungwon rolls his eyes.
Jay snorts, pinching Jungwon's nose a bit teasingly, "yeah, like a feral cat," he lets go and sits up. "Get up, cook with me."
"I thought you'd cook for me!! And I just have to lie here all pretty," Jungwon complains.
"You have to get used to making your own meals," Jay says, "plus I'll be cooking with you. Tomorrow you'll wake up and not have someone cook you breakfast, you know?"
"Fine," Jungwon sighs and extends his arms out. "Help me up please."
"Since you asked so nicely..." Jay starts to tickle his sides, making Jungwon slap his arm.
"Nice try, I'm not ticklish!"
Jay laughs, grabbing Jungwon's hands and pulling him up. "It's here, right? Your tickle spot," Jay softly caresses Jungwon's neck with his thumb, his palm on his nape. Jungwon shivers and Jay lets go, chuckling. "Let's go cook, I'm starving!"
