One day in December

Chapter one♡x♡=♡²

I'm  just a normal girl who loves science. Im working and studying hard to become a zoologist one day. I've always dreamt about that ever since the third grade when i got to pet a giraffe.

I currently go to New York university, in New York City. The date today is November 20th, 2023.

I had just walked into class when I hear the most annoying voice ever created. The so called "famous" hockey captain. I never bothered learning his name considering he was the most annoying and most impossible man on earth. Also I'm not interested in making any friends, I already have my best friend lidia, and she's all I need to get through this year, and every year.

I was reading my book when I then snapped back to reality when the teacher had called my name.

"Adeline?" Mr smith announces.
"Here' I say as i go back to reading.

The teacher then continues to call roll.
"Chester?" Mr smith says in a stern and strict voice.

I looked up  and saw the most gorgeous blue eyes I'd  ever seen.

"Here" Chester says. He then looks in her direction, and smirks.

She rolls her eyes and goes back to reading my book. She didn't realize, but she was blushing a whole lot. She continues reading and Chester continues talking to the hockey boys as Mr Smith announces class is starting.

"Alright class. It's time to start."

She put a bookmark in her book and drew her attention to the teacher. Chester, being the obnoxious hockey player he is, doesn't listen and continues to talk to his friends and ignore Mr smith.

"Chester!" Mr smith yells
"Am I going to have to contact coach Brian and tell him that your choosing not to participate and pay attention!?" Mr smith is coach Brian's older brother. He's a real threat to the hockey boys if they act up.

"No sir..." Chester turned around and started to pay attention. He's like a little puppy who supposedly needs attention when he doesn't have it.

Mr Smith starts class and starts to write on the board. She writes down everything she needs to. This is her favorite class besides Chester. Science. Also it's the last class of the day.

As Mr Smith continues class she keeps jotting down notes. I think Chester barely study's. Apparently to him, hockey is all that matters.

As Mr smith teaches she glances over at Chester.

She thought to herself "God those eyes....NO, not a chance in hell am I going to think about him. No way."

Mr Smith hands out the assignment of the day and she gets it done before class ends. As the bell rang Mr Smith made everyone turn in their papers whether they were done or not. She had given him her paper when he called her over...and as you could probably guess. He called Chester over as well.

" Adeline, I need you to tutor Chester."

"Seriously...this is a joke right?"

"No. Not a joke' Mr smith says

She thought "God it wasn't a joke?! I have to tutor the most annoying man on earth!? No way. No. Way."

She looks over at Chester and he has that, stupid grin on his face. God Ihate that....
"Alright!" Chester says. In the most stupid cocky tone.

When Mr smith had finished his " you must tutor Chester, lecture" we walked out of the classroom.

"Look I'm going to need to have your number...for tutoring." She says

He smirks. "Alright" he looked like he wanted to...never mind. That's not important. He hands me a piece of paper with his number and adress.
" ill be there at 7 o'clock" she says trying to avoid his eyes.
"Alrighty then. Bye." He then winks at her and walks off.

As soon as he walks off she speed walks to her dorm. She walks in and closes the door and flops on the bed like she had just died.

"He's so......UGHHH!!" She flipped over on her stomach and smashed her  face in a pillow and groaned some more.
"Girl are you ok?" Lidia says. My best friend.
"NO" she says very dramatically.
"What's wrong with you?"
"Chester is what's wrong" she says
"OH.MY.GOD. What happened!!?"
"Mr smith is making me tutor him..." she says as her face was still stuffed into a pillow.
"Holy shit. Y'all should hook up-"
"OH HELL NO"
"Oh come on it can't be that bad..right?" Lidia try's to convince me, but I'm not buying it.
' its gonna be horrible....I have to go to his hose at 7..."
"TODAY?!" Lidia yells "holy shit you need to borrow my clothes"
"No. I'm wearing my own clothes." I say. No way in hell am I wearing a dress to tutor him.
"Fine.." Lidia sounded disappointed. "Don't come crying to me when you fall for him. Anyways...Have fun!!"
" I wont!!" I say in a enthusiastic voice acting just like Lidia.

Lidia leaves the room and shuts the door behind her. I get my notebook and start writing.
" my best friend doesn't understand me sometimes. I love her though. I hope I don't fall for Chester..." I cross that out "I WONT fall for Chester. I can't."

I'm just praying to myself that it wont come true, or will it.
