-------

I awake the next morning stretching my aching limbs out in bed. I sit up on the bed and remember this strange dream I had. Namjoon was a werewolf and there was a prophecy about me being with another werewolf that he had to mark me with some sort of bite.

I chuckled as the nonsense of that dream came to my mind.

Y/n: Imagine if that was true. I mean Namjoon, a werewolf. That's just crazy.

I get up and walk into my bathroom still thinking about that dream. I strip all my clothes off and get into the shower. Once again the hot water eases my muscles relaxing them. I sigh and hum an unknown tune aloud.

After a long shower, I get out brush my teeth and hair change into some comfortable attire and walk into the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. I stop when I see Namjoon sitting on a chair in the kitchen eating cereal.

Namjoon: Oh, hi y/n. How are you feeling this morning?
Suddenly all of last night's memories came flooding in. The dream I had... wasn't a dream. It was real. Namjoon is a werewolf. I am part of a prophecy and I do have to get marked by a werewolf I know nothing about. Well... except for his name. Hosoek.

Y/n: Hey Namjoon. I've never felt better.
I say sarcastically. I walked toward and past Namjoon. I grabbed a bowl from the cupboard and sat down next to Namjoon.

Y/n: Pass me the milk?
He gives me the milk in my hand and goes back to eating. I pour the milk into the bowl and then pour the cereal. Namjoon cringes when he sees me pour the milk in first.

Namjoon: I still don't understand why you put the milk in first.
I shrug at him.

Y/n: It is perfectly normal.

Namjoon: No it isn't. It's weird.
I want to argue back but think better of it. He has the ability to come up with the smartest argument. I wouldn't expect anything less from him. He is so smart. Compared to me Einstein.

Y/n: Namjoon. We need to talk about last night.
He pauses. He sets down the spoon back into the bowl and turns to look at me, smiling lightly.

Namjoon: What would you like to talk about? Ask me anything you want.

Y/n: Firstly. I was thinking about this one last night when we got back... did our friendship mean anything to you when I first met you? I want you to be honest.
He sighs. I've been dreading this question. Dreading his answer.

Namjoon: I was hoping you wouldn't ask that. Our friendship is the best thing that has happened to me but... it didn't mean anything to me, in the beginning.
My heart sank. A lump formed in my throat. I forcefully swallow it down while Namjoon studies my face carefully. He notices my silence and his eyes start to become glossy with tears.

Namjoon: I'm sorry Y/n. I really am.
Tears threatening to fall out of my eyes. I hold them back.

Namjoon: In the beginning, I was supposed to meet you and get some information on you. Become close to you as well as your friend. I didn't expect to start to like you. I never expected to ever have a friend like you. Please believe me. I beg you.
Tears start to fall on Namjoon's face. I'm trying my very hardest to not break down. Our entire friendship was fake. My judgment gets cut short when I notice the sincerity that's on his face. I soften at his vulnerable state.

Y/n: I forgive you.
I say after a few seconds.

Namjoon: Thank you so much.
He smiles brightly and hugs me. I hug him back despite how much he lied to me. I try fighting the urge to smile. I can never stay mad at him, and that's my weakness. We have had many arguments in the past and we've never gone more than two days without talking to each other.
