Chapter Eight: The Last Mirror Shard

(when our heroes arrived at Radish Ruins...)

Cheyenne: Okay, this is it... The last shard.

Daphne: If we find it right here, right now, we'll be able to stop Dark Mind and all his dark evil schemes for good, and we will be able to save the Mirror World and Meta Knight as well!

Cheyenne: But... but my Shadow counterpart didn't want to hurt me! Could the Shadow counterparts be corrupted?

Kiriko: Well, who cares now! Nothing is gonna stop us now, if we're together!

Cheyenne: Well, what are you waiting for? Come on!

(so they adventured far into Radish Ruins, ready to get the last mirror shard from the last remaining Shadow clone (the one that was disguised) as Ready for Anything by Landon Austin plays in the background, but Cheyenne, Daphne, and Kiriko sing their own cover for it!)

Cheyenne: (singing) We look out and see the world
It takes everything we have to face it

Daphne: (singing) Without a sound, we'll take a step

(the song ends as what seemed like forever once again... they finally made it. The last mirror shard. When our heroes get there, they see a figure that looked strangely like Meta Knight, the one that they had to save, but he strangely also didn't look Frozen Hearted either...)

Cheyenne: Meta Knight? Hey... We came here just in time. We need you...

(but suddenly... the original "Meta Knight" that Cheyenne tried to save... suddenly started to attack her! That was not the original Meta Knight!)

Cheyenne: AHH!

(then... while still wearing his Fighter headband... Kirby switches to his new Smash ability and uses Final Cutter to stop the imposter Meta Knight from attacking his mom, saving her life once again)

Cheyenne: Wait... my son is using his Smash lessons for saving our lives?

Kiriko: I think he's using it for defense of others! I don't think that was the real Meta Knight!

Mario: Mamma Mia! Now we know why our pink-a friend wanted-a to be with-a us again!

Link: Hey, we have helped him in many battles before! Therefore, we can do it again!

Ness: Let's Smash this Meta Knight imposter to the ground!

(so the other video game characters decided to help Kirby by using their Smash Bros. skills to stop that Meta Knight imposter from keeping the third shard!)

Cheyenne: Taking Smash Bros. to a whole new level!

Kiriko: Just like in the old days!

(the girls then share a laugh together, but not before the video game characters, including Kirby, defeated the imposter Meta Knight... who then turned out to be Dark Meta Knight, the one that was disguised!)

The heroes and video game characters: (shocked at who the imposter Meta Knight really is) DARK META KNIGHT?!

Kirby: POYO?!

Cheyenne: So you were the disguised Shadow clone all along?! Why did you stall us like this?!

(but, Dark Meta Knight just ran away, leaving the last mirror shard behind. Cheyenne and her gang were shocked that this was not even the real Meta Knight!)

Cheyenne: We... we were ready for anything! We found the eighth and final shard! This doesn't make sense!

Daphne: Why was this not the real Meta Knight and the Dark Meta Knight from the Mirror World?!

Cheyenne: My Shadow counterpart... She stalled all of us! All to let Dark Mind take over the Mirror World! (she and Kirby start losing hope) I thought we saved Meta Knight...

Kirby: (now in tears as his clones start comforting him) Poyo... (he then starts crying, knowing all hope for the Mirror World and even Meta Knight were all lost... however... his chest began to glow golden again, as well as everything and everyone around him) Poyo?

Mario: Cosa?

Ness: What's going on? Why is his chest glowing?

Kiriko: Guys... look!

(the same star, known as Kirby's own heroic heart, showed up again!)

Heroic Heart: Now what is going on? Another "lost hope" moment!

Cheyenne: Heroic Heart star spirit! This is an emergency! We thought we saved Meta Knight, but we had to battle his Dark counterpart! He stalled us and kept that eighth shard away from us! Now Dark Mind will win!

Heroic Heart: Hey, let's not give up just yet! Look around!

Cheyenne: What? (she turns around... and there it was! The last mirror shard! She gasps) The last mirror shard! It's still there!

(even Kirby and his clones became more hopeful. That was the shard they were looking for the entire time!)

Blade Knight: See? I knew we would find it! Now we can save our Sir Meta Knight and stop Dark Mind from endangering us all!

Heroic Heart: Well, I'm sorry that I had tried to use your time. Good luck on saving your blue knight!

(it disappears and everything goes back to normal. Cheyenne then picks up the last mirror shard, and puts it away)

Cheyenne: There's still some hope left. Let's get to the Mirror World to put the mirror back together, and save Meta Knight and defeat Dark Mind for good.

Daphne: But... there's a lot of mirrors here.

Cheyenne: There's some mirrors that actually lead to the Mirror World, and we must go there to restore the mirror.

Daphne: Okay, come on! We have to go!

(so they then find the end mirror and with one Warp Star trip... they made it to the Mirror World with all eight shards...)
