We rode down the streets of Green Hill City as we came to a halt. We waited for the traffic light to turn green and then continued our race. My brother and I do this every night, while our Dad is out for patrol.

That's right, he's a Cop. One of Green Hill's finest. He's just so amazing at his job, just as I am in racing, beating my elder brother, Peter to the finish line evey fucking time. Well, he's ahead of me now, just how I want it. I turn left, taking a shortcut he may or may not know about, speeding down the alley as I see two figures ahead of me not clearly sure if they may pose a threat but as I get closer, realization dawns on me. Hell no!, Fucking bastards! I slam the brakes.

"Look who we've got here, Tyrone." said the one with the cringe looking teeth.

The one who goes by the name, Tyrone keeps looking at me, like he's trying to figure out who or what I am. He whispers something to the cringe looking teeth guy. Suddenly, the smile on his face changes into a serious expression.

"Yo, nigga, what's your name?" He asks in a demanding tone.

At this point, I wished Dad patrolled this area. I knew I was in danger. I couldn't do anything but answer in a shaky voice.

"Pa--paul. My na--name's Paul, sir." I answered.

"We've got ourselves our top dog, Scarface." Tyrone said to the other guy.

"We take him to Boss. Promotion's looking good for us."

I panicked even more, my mind began to think of the endless possibilities of what their boss could do if I was captured. You must be wondering why I didn't turn back and speed off. Well, let me break it to you; this is an alley for one , you know how alleys are.

Two, I was caught unaware, you wouldn't know what it feels like to be stung by a scorpion, would you? It's not the pain, but the fact that you're completely paralyzed that's how I feel. Anyways, they began their advance towards me as I began backing up, trying to think of a way out or maybe buy my Dad sometime. Fuck me!

"Don't try anything stupid like shouting for help" Tyrone warned.

"Or calling your Dad. He never patrols here, yunno" Scarface completed.

I was completely shocked.

"How'd you know my Dad's a Cop?" I asked, utterly shocked and confused.

" We know so many dark things about your 'Saint' of a Dad." Scarface said.
With that , he grabbed my hands and tied me up .

After riding and maneuvering cars in this foggy weather, knowing fully well that my Paul wasn't ahead of me, I turned back, expecting to see him pass me by. Subsequently, I turned back. Worry began seeping out of me.

I promised myself we would never go racing should I be successful in finding Paul. He loves doing risky things and that doesn't bode well with me. What kind of elder brother would I be, letting my brother get into trouble so late at night? With that, I turned back , speeding more than necessary till I found a corner by my left and rode down, surprisingly enough, I found Paul's bike and when I stopped to examine it, I saw blood stains on the floor. Fucking hell!

I ran down into the alley, more like the unknown and I stopped once I heard someone's muffled screams. I walked quietly and peeped and then I saw...

"Fuck you motherfucker!" I yelled in pain as I scored a bullet in my arm.

I recoiled back, staggering, almost losing my balance. The guy with the gun intentionally blocked my view as the other guy began moving my brother's body. He looks unconscious or was probably beaten to stupor. I tried pushing him away with my other arm but he pushed me back and aimed at me.
