You opened your eyes slowly; you think that was the best sleep you've had in a while. You get out of the warm covers and walk into the bathroom, picking up your toothbrush and putting toothpaste on it so you can brush your teeth. After you're done with that you brush your messy and tangled hair, then you walk out, closing the door behind you and getting some day clothes out of the dresser. You change out of your PJ's and throw them in the hamper before walking out of Konig's bedroom. You're instantly greeted with the large man sitting on the couch, but this time he's with Simon as well.

"Morning, guys." You greet them with a tired smile, still rubbing the sleep out of your eyes. It took you a minute to remember that you were going to actually train with Ghost today. Simon nods as a greeting, you've quickly realized he's not very social, only speaking when he needs to. Konig isn't really social either, but he still greets you.

"Sleep well?" Konig asks, it's now that you realize just how calm his voice always sounds, it's shockingly calm for someone who is used to barking orders and shooting people between the eyes. The thought of him killing makes you shiver.

"Yeah, slept pretty good." You respond, walking over to the chair close by the couch and sitting in it, bringing your legs close to your chest and resting your arm on your knee.

"So, what are we doing today?" You ask, leaning your head on your knees, eyes flicking between both of the large men right across from you.

"You'll be training with me." Ghost's rough, British accent rings out, answering your question, you get nervous at the thought of training with such a dangerous weapon, what if you mess up or hurt someone? Or yourself?

"I take it that Konig has already taught you the basics?" You nod in response to his question, you've drilled the information from Konig into your head, well, as much as you can drill into your own mind. Some you don't remember but who remembers the anatomy of a knife anyways? Oh, right, Simon and Konig.

"Good." He says simply. "We'll start in one hour." Those words only serve to make you more nervous, but you gotta do what you gotta do to survive out here now. This is the apocalypse. Life or death. Kill or be killed. That's what you have to remind yourself.

It's been an hour; you changed your clothes again to have more mobility and make it easier for you to train. Ghost leads you out into the hallway, but not before quickly checking around the corners and making sure it's clear and safe to go out. You can tell he won't go easy on you, even if you are just a novice. To him you're a soldier now, someone under his command, someone who needs to fight.

"Try to hit me with it." He orders, his gruff British accent prominent as he speaks. It actually shocks you, the tone he used, you've never heard him exert such... Power. With just his voice, of course he's a large and intimidating man that can force a whole room into silence by just standing there but the roughness of his orders is enough to make anyone submit.

"Wha- You want me... To try and hit you... With a knife...?" You ask slowly and cautiously, brows furrowed in confusion. Does he for real want you to try and STAB him? Is he out of his mind? You get it, it's to test you, see what you know, but there is no way you could try to hurt him. Even though you know he would easily block it and come out on top, unscathed.

"Did I stutter?" He doesn't even make it sound like a question when he's so serious. even questions sound like harsh commands waiting to be followed. His intimidating frame that towers over you doesn't make it any better. The skull mask revealing no emotions whatsoever, his eyes boring into yours with a powerful intensity.

"No." You respond shakily, gripping the knife in your hand tightly, how does he expect you to do this? Should you just go for it? Konig didn't exactly teach you how to hit your trainer before you've even learned anything. And so, you just go for it, gripping the knife tighter and charging at Ghost, going for his left side to which he swiftly blocks with just his hand, disarming you before you even notice he moved. Your eyes are wide as you quickly scramble to grab the Hidden Tang again, you expected him to block you but dang he is quick.

"Again." He looks down at you, eyes narrow, showing nothing and yet everything at the same time. You quickly charge at him once again, going for his left side again, he blocks it easily, disarming you once more. There is no way you're going to be able to hit him.

"Again." His voice stays the same, deep and commanding. It gets you more fired up; you're determined to hit him now. Well, not stab him or anything, but close enough to make him stop saying "again". You grab the knife, darting behind him quickly you try to catch him by surprise, but your attempts ultimately end in failure as he spins around, grabbing you by your wrist to spin you around and almost knock you off your feet. Training is tough...

It's been hours at this point, you have bruises everywhere from falling and even a few cuts where you accidentally nicked yourself. You're out of breath and tired. Your hands rest on your knees as you try to catch your breath. Ghost on the other hand looks unharmed and completely fine. He just stands there, the same spot from hours ago, nearly unmoving. It's shocking.

"Get some rest, we'll try this again tomorrow." Ghost says, walking over to you with surprisingly quiet steps and putting a large hand on your shoulder. His normal voice is still rough but not as scary, it's pretty calming actually.

"Okay." You smile, looking up at him with your hair sticking to your forehead and a small bead of sweat falling from your nose. You look rough, you feel rough too. You kind of feel like a massive Semi just hit you and left you to bake in the Sahara Desert. But hey, you gotta do what you gotta do.

He leads you back to Konig's apartment, a hand on your sweat covered back, he's surprisingly gentle too. As you guys walk in Konig waves to you guys from the small kitchen that looks even smaller with his massive self standing there. It almost makes you laugh, it just looks funny, such a massive man in such a small space. But Simon doesn't seem to react.

"How did it go?" Konig's German accent rings out curiously as he continues to make what looks like soup. You just let out a tired groan as you sit on the chair, instantly relaxing into it. Your muscles burn and your entire body aches. Your response makes both of the men crack an unseen smile. Ghost momentarily leaves the room before returning and throwing some sleep clothes on you, making you flinch and quickly grab them.

"Thanks." You slur tiredly before getting up from your spot on the chair with a groan of pain. You make your way to Konig's room then to his bathroom. You grab a towel and quickly turn on the water, making sure it's scolding hot before hopping inside and cleaning off all the sweat, dirt and grime from today, watching as it washes down the drain with the soap and water. After you're done you step out into the cold air and quickly dry yourself before slipping on the warm PJ's. You look in the fogged mirror, seeing your blurred self before wiping the fog away and grabbing your toothpaste and toothbrush, turning on the water and quickly brushing your teeth before exiting the bathroom and throwing your clothes in the hamper. You then walk out to say goodnight to Ghost and Konig only to notice Ghost already left. Oh well.

"Goodnight, Konig." You smile tiredly, hardly able to keep your eyes open. Ghost really did a number on you today. It feels like someone put you through a woodchipper and then lit your remains on fire for their kids to roast marshmallows over.

"Goodnight, Liebling, get some rest." He says with an unseen smile of his own. And with that you walk into his room, quickly laying down on his bed and making yourself comfortable under his blankets. You feel your eyes getting heavier until you eventually fade into a deep slumber.
