As she stared at the fanart, a sudden message from her mom scared the shit out of her.

"Oh god.."

Miko ignored it and made her way to the changing room. She felt so sticky. Thank God there's a shower in the changing room, she can take a quick shower, eat in the company cafeteria and go home. Even she was surprised at first after finding out that their company got their own cafeteria. AND FREE FOOD? Who doesn't want free food?

The constant beeping noise from her phone is now bothering her though, she put down her chopstick before dialling her mom's phone number. With a few ringing sounds, the other person picks up the phone. Miko opened her mouth and was about to say something but her mom beat into it.

「Miko! I message you a lot of times! Came back home! 」

'Oh god, I thought I might go deaf for a second there.' she thought to herself, her mom again, again, nagging at her to come back to the family home. Miko let out a sigh as she pinched the bridge of her nose.

"Can't we discuss over the phone?"

「The fact that I'm telling you to come home means that we can't Miko!」

"But mom I'm quite busy right now-"

Though, her mom cut her short.

「You better take a few days off or else I'm telling your father to pick you up right now, Sakura Miko!!」

"Alright! Alright mom!" Miko panicked. Who doesn't? Your mom yelling your name including the family name is not a good sign at all!

「You better be!」

Just like that, her mom ended the call. Miko let out a deep sigh.

"Ah... I really don't wanna go back home.."

She tried to continue to eat the food but it just doesn't taste good anymore. Miko sighs out loud when suddenly someone puts their tray on the table in front of her. She looked up and saw her partner. Business partner in fact. The 'comet' in 'MiComet'. Hoshimachi Suisei. Suisei raised her eyebrows before sitting down.

"What's with sigh?"

The blue haired girl asked before putting her hands together in front of the food while saying 'Itadakimasu.' Then, she started using her chopsticks to eat the food.

"My mom called me, saying I need to go to the family home asap."

"Hwhy?" She said while munching the food. It's not really a good image for an idol to do so but who cares. This is her life.

"I don't know. She said something important. Also finish the food in your mouth first before talking!" Miko pushed her tray to the side before slumping down her face to the table.

"You too huh.."

Hearing this, Miko looked up at Suisei in confusion. She didn't say it but her expression demanded Suisei for an answer and the comet girl understood it.

"My mother called me too, and my sister. She said we need to discuss family matters."

"Huh, what with this coincidence. Did your mom copy my mom!?" Accuse Miko suddenly. Though it's only a joke. And Suisei goes along with it.

"Probably your mom who's the one who is copying my mother."

"Hahaha"

Both of them laugh. Then sigh.

"I don't wanna go. Don't you feel the same, Sui-chan?" Miko lifts her head, looking at the comet girl in the eyes. She thought Suisei would be like her so she didn't expect Suisei's answer at all.

"I don't really mind."

"Eh!?"

"Well, it's been a long time since I've visited them. So I might as well take this chance."

"Ugh..."

Miko groans. Great, she doesn't have an accomplice.

"What is it that you don't want to go?"

"My grandpa is there too Sui-channnn"

"Ahh.."

Yep. She knows. Miko once told Suisei about her grandpa. Like, how bad news her grandpa is. It's not like she hates her grandpa, it's just, it's too much for her.

"Well, we can't really say 'no' can we? Better start asking for a few days off then."

Miko nodded her head. Yeah. She can't say no. Her mom will surely send her dad to pick her up. No matter where she was hiding, her mom had her location. Thinking about this, Miko felt a shiver running down her spine. Man, mom is truly a scary person. Miko and Suisei continue to eat their meals together while having a small talk. After a meal together, they make their ways to the office, searching for A-chan. A-chan was having a discussion with Nodoka-chan, but seeing the two of them approaching, they smiled and asked,

"What is it Miko-san, Suisei-san?"

"So like.. Uh." Miko starts but she doesn't know how to ask for it.

"Both of us have family matters and we would like to take a few days off if we can." Continue Suisei, rescuing Miko from the awkward moment. A-chan smiled, understanding the situation.

"Why of course! But don't forget to tell your viewers about this."

"Right, yeah. No worries, we'll do it."

Nodding to each other, Miko and Suisei bid them a goodbye and walk to the entrance of the office, ready to go back home.

"How many days?"

"Hm?"

"I mean like, how many days will you take?"

Suisei pondered for a moment before answering the pink haired girl question.

"5 days maybe. I'd like to spend some time with them."

Miko nodded her head. They walk together, bowing to the receptionist, and make their way outside the company. Cars passing by, kids walking together. Well, it's a weekend anyway. There's no school and students can happily go out with friends.

"I'll take 3 days maybe. Don't like staying with my grandpa that much though."

Suisei laughed.

"I can see that."

They take the same train, but different stations. Knowing that they had some more time before the train arrived, Miko suggested that they went to buy Taiyaki since, well, she's in the mood for sweets.

"I guess that's why you're big." Suisei teases her, making the shrine maiden lash out at her.

"Hey!"

"Hahaha! Don't worry Mikochi. You're still cute. Don't worry." The comet girl was oblivious of what effect her words had on Miko. Miko had this small bush on her face when Suisei said she's cute. But she quickly shook her head, wanting to ignore it as she knew the other girl said that just to cheer her up, not like flirting or hinting something. Yep. She knew. 100%!

The Taiyaki in hand is gone. It's time to get home then, so they make their way to the train station. Waiting for the train is not that long, in a few minutes, the train arrives. Miko yawned as she sat on a seat beside Suisei. She's tired. Miko takes a quick glance at Suisei, seeing the comet girl currently sitting comfortably while closing her eyes, Miko sigh.

'I guess she had a long day too.'
