I now feel the success when we reach the edge of estate of the Aviangon. We take a few steps until we stop. The air is passing by like a leaving ghost. My heartbeat is getting faster, I am still nervous of what will possibly happen next. What if Caraspian will not surrender? What if he will still never surrender the kingdom? But he got no choice right now. It is just me and Ellisse standing in front of the huge castle. The ambience that is surrounding the Aviangon is pale and dormant than the grey cloudy sky. The weather is not really good. There is no sharp gleam of the sun. The sky is hefty and I believe, it will let its tears fall on. I am just wondering if the sky whether or not agrees to grant our desires due to its gloomy and murky emotion.
The castle stands like a fighting-collapsing estate from the distance. Despite Caraspian's sweat and blood smeared in the kingdom, it is still arising from the catastrophe. It is built in eleven layers. It is so much unearthly towering and extremely wide than what I imagined. From the distance, I can see and estimate it. It is built with strong magenta-coloured bricks. There is a grand balcony jutted out in front of the castle where the royals come out and stand to face the people waiting and cheering below. At least, that is what what I always see in the movies and on the television. The peak of the castle looks like it has almost reached the sky. Every established elongated-bricked wall is layered with tawny-coloured roof and on top of every roof is a silver triangular-shaped flaglet waving. Despite the valiancy the kingdom stands with, it is still asleep in the hands of Caraspian.
"Are you ready?" I ask and turn to look at her eyes.
"I have been waiting for this, George. I am so desperate to take Caraspian down. He will be responsible for everything he did, especially to my father and mother." She strongly responds. Her hands curl and turn into fists. She is eager and desperate right now.
"Let's go," She commands.
We start walking towards the Aviangon, just the two of us. I am calculating my thoughts of what may possibly happen. Every step we take is the rhythm of every beat of our hearts. This is final and we make it sure that we could take the Aviangon back.
We reach the edge of the way towards the grand entrance of the castle. People who were just passing by have now stopped and are staring us right now.
"You just stay here, George." She says to me. I want to go with her because I want to protect her but I guess I should just follow what she says. I trust her. And I respect her privacy to have heated conversation with Caraspian.
I stop walking and stay where I am standing right now. I look her in the eyes, wishing the best for her. She also looks me in the eyes and then finally turns around and continues walking.
"Ellisse." I call her. i ran to her. I quickly open my arms and wrap those around her. I hug her so tightly that I can't help thinking being far away from her again. She wraps her arms around me and leans closer her head onto me. We say nothing afterwards. We just look each other in the eyes and she starts heading towards.
One old woman approaches her. Her shows surprise and disbelief. She can't believe what she is seeing right now.
"Your highness..." She takes a closer look that makes Ellisse quite step back. "You're alive?"
The rumors arise across the ambience by people who are now caught by surprise and can't believe that after all what happened, she is alive.
"Princess Ellisse..." One child runs towards her and takes hold her one hand. "We thought you were dead."
Ellisse turns to take a look at me, looking gloomy. She wants to explain everything what really happened inside the castle. She wants to tell them how Caraspian smeared them with his evilness. How he manipulated everything. How he deceived the people.
