Skipping With Jackie

Alex's POV

Y/N/N had left when the homeroom bell rang, I waited for her to come back but she just didn't, her and Jackie were no where in sight. 

"No Jackie or Y/N today?" The teacher asked me.

I snap back to reality, trying to think of a good excuse for them. 

"They're sick, uh guess somethings going around? Flu or something.." I say but ending up making it sound more of question. 

The teacher nodded and continued with class but I couldn't focus.

Y/N Pov

I was sitting next to Jackie, the view was beautiful here. 

"Shots?" Olivia asked me, Jackie, and Erin.

"Oh come on Olivia, she'd never." She spat.

Jackie proving her wrong took a shot, cringing at the taste.

"Thanks Olivia." I smile to her but glare at Erin. 

It was pretty boring for the most part until Dylan started stripping and everyone saw him wearing  Cole's jersey. There was an obvious tension now, Cole dipped and walked away, I was still drinking. Jackie went after Cole and Dylan teased me to join them in skinny dipping. I know my brain wasn't thinking right once my body hit the freezing water. I regret being in the water now, embarrassed and alone, I went to swim back out but Erin called for me. 

"Come on don't be a pussy and get out." She smiled.

"I wasn't, I was just warming up." I retort back. 

It honestly was more fun now that I was talking with everyone but we eventually got out and all dried up. Cole and Jackie were back and we all were having a good time in my eyes. I was talking to this cute boy with curly brown hair, we were going inside to get another drink.

"You know I really wish I had met you before today, you're just so cool." I ranted to him.

"We probably could've if you weren't always by that dudes hip." He shrugged.

"Who Alex? Pfft who cares about him." I laugh, slurring my words a bit.

The guy smirks at me and takes my drink I just filled for himself, walking us back outside telling me "That's enough for you." 

"Alright Olivia, truth or dare." Erin stood up, the nice guy who I learned was named Jason sat me next to him, Cole looked over at me and scrunched his brows seeing how I was acting, it was obvious I was drunk, I had never drank anything before.  We all stood around the fire pit and it was eventually my turn. 

"Y/N, truth or dare?" A girl named Ruby asked me. 

"Truth." I laugh.

"What are your feelings for Alex?" She asked me smirking a little.

I freeze for a second and look at Jackie who suddenly seems interested in the game, I was not going to tell everyone my feelings for him especially not when he likes someone else. I turn to Jason and grab his face and go to pull him down. 

"Alright, that's enough." Cole stopped us. "She's clearly too drunk, she doesn't have to answer or kiss some guy who only wants in her pants." 

"What the hell dude?" Jason started.

"We all heard what you said when you saw her get out of our car." Danny defended his brother.

"Excuse me?" I looked confused.

"I'm done with this." Jason walked away, I awkwardly sat down as Danny sat next to me.

Danny explained to me how the guy was saying he bets everyone he could get me to be so into him by the end of the day that he could've done it with me. I felt sick to my stomach hearing that, but also felt horrible of myself.

Next thing I know Jackie is throwing up on Cole after he goes to kiss her and we are all back in the van leaving to go back to the Walters. 

It was dark out once we got back and the two boys were trying to keep me and Jackie quiet. 

They didn't want to take me home and have me get in trouble so they texted my parents from my phone saying how I was spending the night. 

"Hiii Katherine!" Me and Jackie smile, as the two boys cringe. 

"Where have you guys been?" Katherine gets up noticing her son shirtless. "Oh, wow.. That's a look, can't wait to hear this explanation." 

"We went to a party!" Jackie laughed.

"Which I practically forced her to go to." Cole tried to defend her. 

"And I just drove so.." Danny handed her the keys when she now looked at me.

"I got played." I laughed.

"I'm gonna.. take her upstairs.." Danny walked away as Katherine said goodnight. 

But then George was heading downstairs asking where we were, we just kept walking up.

I was laughing when Danny knocked on a door, Alex opened it his eyes widened. 

"Here's your little girlfriend." Danny did a closed lip smile.

"That's not me that's Jackie" I poked Danny with a sad laugh. 

"Come here." Alex dragged me in his room.

"Where were you?!" He was clearly upset.

"Partying with the big guys." I smiled.

"Are you serious." Alex looked hurt but was concerned for me.

"Yeaahhh, it sucked  though. Guys are JERKS." I flopped on his bed.

"What happened?" Alex sat by me with my head now on his legs as he stroked my hair.

"Nothing important just forever lonely" I sung to him, Alex sighed knowing he was going to ask Danny about this later.

He heard Jackie rambling upstairs and he lifted me up and sat me on his bed telling me to not move he would be right back.

"Of course leave me for her again." I smile not thinking on what was coming out of my mouth, Alex looked back kind of hurt on my words and just slowly closed the door behind him. Nathan went downstairs and came back up giving me a water, I forgot he was even in the room. I was slowly sobering up and processing things. Alex opened the door and saw me drinking water, he sat next to me.

"What's up?" I ask him.

"Jackie almost uh.. kissed me?" He told me honestly.

"Oh." That got my attention. "How was that?" 

"I didn't kiss her Y/N/N." He looked at me not breaking eye contact.

I slowly nodded, Alex tucked me into his bed and made himself his own on the floor.

"Goodnight Y/N/N." Alex whispered, but I was already fast asleep.
