𝗜 was currently unpacking my stuff since we dead just got here, when all of a sudden my mama yell. "𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗛," "𝗬𝗘𝗦," i yelled back. I waited a minute to see if she was gon answer but ofc no answer. "I hate when she do ts," I mumble to myself going downstairs.
"𝗛i mommy, what did u need," i ask softly seeing that she was cooking. "Hey baby, i just wanted to tell you that your cousin, Cam, was asking if you wanted to go see him today". My face immediately lit up. Cam was one of my favorite cousins fasho and i ain't seen him ina grip like since i was a kid type shi. "Yess of coursee i haven't him in mad long," i say excidetly. "Okay well imma finish cooking then drop you off so go get ready," she say smiling about my excitement.
𝗪hen i get upstairs, i immediatly start tryna find a fit. "I'm not gon do to much we gon be on sum calm shi," i think to myself. Finally, i decide to wear my essentials sweatpants and hoodie wit my new balances. Once i was done deciding, i start doing my hygeine things. I took an everything shower, did my skincare, and curled my hair, then sprayed some of my prada milano perfume . "ouuu i look painn," i say as i look in my mirror gassin myself upp. I then go downstairs and seen my mother was done cooking. "You look cute baby," my mom told me as she grabbed her car keys. "Thank you mommy," i say. Then we left.
❥❥❥ "You want me to come inside with you or you good?," my mom asked since she seen that I was kinda nervous. "Nah i think i'm good i'll call you if anything," i say reassuring her. "Okay, bye baby love you," "bye mommy love you too". She waits for me to knock the door then she starts to drive off. I waited a minute after I knocked them all of a sudden I hear someone running to the door. the door opens and it's none other than Cam. "I KNOW THAT'S NOT LIL MIMI," he say yelling mad loud going for a hug. "WTW CUZ I MISSED YOU," i yell back hugging him. While we was talking I hear laughing toward the back of the house. My body instantly tenses up. "Calm down they cool, i'll introduce you to em," he say tryna calm me down walking towards the back of the house. "okay," i say softly still kinda nervous.
𝗪e walk back to where everyone at and they all immediately looked up from what they was doing and started staring. "bro here they go," i think to myself annoyed getting self conscious. "ya'll meet my cousin mimi," cam say introducing me. I do a slight wave with a smile so i don't seem rude even though i just wanna leave. "hey girl i'm ren, come sit wit us," she say wit a smile. i guess she seen how uncomfortable i was. i go over to sit next to her. "wsp i'm jayden," a brown skin boy wit a high top said dabbing me up . "hey i'm nelson," this white boy wit curly hair said to me. "i'm lala," the girl next to nelson said wit a attitude lowkey. i looked over and seen this lightskin boy wit braids and a beanie on his phone. he ain't say nun to me or even look up. "melo introduce urself," ren said to him. "i'm coo ion need to," he says coldly. "here u go doin the most you coulda at least said ur name tf she ain't do nun to u," she replied mugging him. "he don't needa say nun to her if he don't want to,"lala said to ren. "yk what imma let u have that one cuz we got a new friend." ren said to her irritated. "it's fine, it's nice to meet ya," i say to them not wanting to cause a issue. "you gotta accent, where you from?," jayden asked me. "nyc," i say. "oh u be gettin sturdy n shi huh," nelson asked. "nahh i dead never learned," i said laughing. "yall leave my friend alone wit y'all dumbass questions," ren said putting her arm around me. i just smiled. "she all our friend be coo," jayden said mushing her head. she jus mugged him.
We continued talking and i got to know them more. While we was all still talking i look over at melo but he already looking at me. when he seen me look he started mugging me. "bro wtf i do to him," i thought to myself. i look away real quick.
"Oh mimi, cam said u was going to the same school as us," ren said bringing my attention back to her. "say no moree," i say happy that ion needa make new friends. "damn wtf do she gotta be everywhere wit us?," lala said making my face drop. "wym by that," jayden and nelson both ask giving her a dirty ass look. "like we jus met her ad it already feel like she gon be everywhere," she say tryna sound smart. see me i'm not the type to start a issue over lil shi like this cuz ion want ut to cause me to get outta character. so, i just sat there and went on my phone to text my mom to come get me. "lala stfu always got sum to say," ren said to her. "and here u go defending her like she can't speak for herself," lala said to her. at that point i was jus embarassed cuz i look mad dumb not saying nun. "cuz she dint wanna cause nun but here u are tryna get buck so lmk what it is," ren said slightly raising her voice. "you got it ren," lala said getting up. "melo i'm finna head out," she say to him. "bye," he say not even looking up.
"finally she gone bruh," nelson sighed. "mimi why you so like quiet," jayden asked me. "ion know i jus don't be wantin to cause nun which ik ya prolly think it sound dumb but yea," i say truthfully. "nah we feel you it's coo to be quiet," ren said. nelson and jayden nod in agreement. " wait so why do ya be around cam all the time,?" i ask. "well we play basketball for him so we jus be around him a lot nd ren like our bsf," nelson explained. i nodded my head understanding. "melo why u not talking at all," ren asks him. i look over at him. "i just don't got nun to say fr," he says nonchalantly. "plus ion kno her to be talking to her," he say refering to me. "we was gettin to know her tho twin," jayden said to him. he jus shrugged and went back on his phone. i look down at my phone and seen my mom was here. "imma go ya my mom here," i say not wanting to be in the same room as melo no more. "bye friendddd, ren said hugging me. nelson and jayden both said bye. melo jus looked at me then looked back on his phone. then i left feeling embarrassed.
