"MIMI, REN, IS YA READY" my mom yell. "yea we ready c'mon" i say walking down the stairs, ren behind me ofc.
today was the day of the game so ren just decided to get ready at my house.
❥❥❥ "nahhh this building ode big wtf" i say admiring the OTE arena. "im sayinn i be suprised everytime i pull up" ren says agreeing.
"there go melo n em" ren says pointing at jayden, melo, nelson, cam, and the rest of the team walking in. "nah we not jackin him right now he move weird" i say rolling my eyes. lately melo been acting real weird tb he busy all the time or he be dry so i dont even know how to feel going inside n shi.
"nah you right imma press his lil ass cuz why would he ever try to play wit my friend like that" ren says making me laugh. "girlll lets go inside" i smile.
we walk in the building before they team could enter. "mimi youn see me?" i hear a familar voice behind me say making me turn around seeing melo mug me. "hi melo" i smle side hugging him making him look at me crazy.
"u straigh?" he ask looking confused. i just nod my head. before he cold say anything else jayden intterupts him.
"muddyyyy" jayden says side hugging me. "nah u stealin my lingo n shi wspp" i say laughing. "it dont even sound right when he say it" ren says making everyone laugh.
"bro u see i could never be nice to you"jayden says mugging me. "boo nigga" i say mushing his head.
"nah where my cousin at tho" i ask looking around. "right here lil girl" i turn around seeing cam. "nigga im grown thank you tf" i say hugging him.
"well we gon let ya do what ya gotta do we gon go find our seats good luck mhs" i say starting to walk away with ren. "yeaa what she said good luck and especially good luck to you bae" she say hugging jayden.
"mimi come here rq so i could talk to you " melo says. "talk to me after ya game okay?" i say kissing his cheek.
❥❥❥ me and ren had found our seats as the game was starting. we wanted courtside but ts was sold out so we got the row before.
"ouuu my man look gooddd" ren says taking a picture of jayden sitting down. melo and jayden wasnt starting because they type young but they still gon play.
"even though we not fw him rn look at minessss omg" i say cheesing ode hard taking a picture of him. he had his braids tied up wit a fresh cut.
"girl byeee but u was mature asf earlier cuz if that was meeee" ren says. "yea ian wanna mess up how he plays today you feel me" i say looking at her then looking back at the game.
right now the score was 17-12 rwe was up. now going into 2nd quarter they put melo and jayden in the game.
right when they stepped on the court melo got the ball and shot a quick 3. me and him made eye contact and smiled while holding number 3 up.
melo had the ball again but was being guarded by 2 boys like twice his height so he dimmed it to jayden making jayden score a 3 pointer. "THATS MY MAN" ren yells making jayden look up and smile.
it was now 4th quarter and the score was 108-72 rwe was still up. there was 20 seconds left of the game. jayden now had the ball but was being guarded so he did a perfect lob for melo.
"YOU GOT THIS MELO" i screamed. melo jumped up almost being blocked but instead made his first in- game dunk and also the winning point.
"OH MY GOD" me and ren both scream. everyone in the crown starts tapping their head and screaming.
ren and i was outside the locker waiting to congratulate the boys for the win. "yoo" we turn around and see these two dreadheads walking towards us. me and ren look so confused.
"ian gon lie we think ya'll look mad good, we could get ya'll numbers?" they ask us. "na-" me and ren start to say but then we hear "nah wtf". we turn around and see jayden and melo looking mad disgusted.
"so this what we doin?" jayden says to ren. "bro what is you talkin bout we didn't do nun" ren says tryna explain.
"we not tryna hear nun ya'll talking bout ian gon lie" melo says looking at me. "bro wtf is ya talking bout them niggas came up to us we wasn't even gon go for it" i say started to get irritated cuz i hate when people think im lying.
"nah we good off ya'll bye" jayden and melo say walking off. "nah ian gon lie they gon believe what they wanna believe we tried telling them da truth and they wasn't tryna hear so what can we do" ren says starting to tear up.
"its okay don't cry boo it's nun we could do hopefully they come around but if they don't, we jus gon move on life too short" i say starting to tear up too wrapping my arms around her.
"i just wish they would've tried listening to where we was coming from but what can we do fr" i say sighing.
"i'm so happy i found you" ren says looking up at me. "im happy i found you too bestie" i smile slightly.
❥❥❥ "bro i think he blocked me on everything" ren says showing me her phone. "lemme check if melo blocked me.
i go on my phone and try texting him but my messages is green. i then go to ig and see that i can't find his account.
"nah melo blocked me too" i say sighing deeply. we both start to cry again but stop and laugh.
"wtf niggas gon think we phycopaths" i say laughing. ren starts laughing even harder.
