And it of course has to start with the family, the Windsor family, which is famous throughout the country for a reason. For centuries, the Windsors have caused nothing but grief to others. The whole family consists of death eaters.
But nowadays, most of the family has been captured and taken to Azkaban to spend the rest of their lives in dark and cold cells.
No one really knows how such an intelligent and powerful family could have been captured, but some have a suspicion, some believe the Windsors have been framed by someone close to them.It was the first day after summer break, and as always, there were new students arriving at Hogwarts. But that year was different.
Harry Potter was among them. You must know him if you're a true wizard. Around ten years ago, his beloved parents were murdered in his presence by him who must not be named.
The parents, Lily and James Potter, did everything they could to protect him. However, their murderer believed he would succeed at ending all of their three lives. He was wrong. Harry survived but was left with a scar and his ungrateful family, the Dursleys. We may discuss them later.
Arrived at Hogwarts, the school of witchcraft and wizardry, all students were going to be sorted into a house by the sorting hat. There were four houses: Griffyndor, for brave and determined students; Hufflepuff, which represents the loyalty and diligence of its students; Ravenclaw, which is connected to intelligence and creativity, and in the end there's Slytherin, with ambitious success-oriented students that are aiming to be strong leaders.
First to go was a girl, her name was Hermione Ranger or so. She was shy, everyone noticed, but just like that everyone could see her relief when she got sorted into Griffyndor.
After a few other students, it was the turn of one of the Weasleys, easily recognizable by their red hair and distinctive way of dressing. This time it was Ronald Weasley. The sorting hat shouted "Griffyndor", probably just like the whole room guessed, since his ancestors had been in Griffydorn for centuries.
The whole Great Hall fell silent when the teacher called out Harry Potter, the boy who lived. He stepped forward as shy and hesitantly as the Ranger girl.
Since stepping up he was whispering something that no one could her. "Not Slytherin!" revealed the sorting hat, that was struggling to sort Harry into a house that fits him. It insisted that Slytherin would help him on his way to become a great wizard.
Still, the sorting hat somehow saw more braveness than cunning in Harry, because it sorted him into Griffyndor.
He was running down to the Griffyndor table, where his friends Ronald and Hermione, which he already made on the way to Hogwarts, already waited for him.The last child being sorted into their house was a girl with complete dark long hair. Every student and teacher was confused but also impressed by her confident walk up to the sorting hat when the teacher called out "Raven Windsor".
Sitting on the chair like every other student, the sorting hat was struggling, again. It said it is pleasant to greet another Windsor, but that this one would be different, more difficult.
Nobody knew, that Raven already knew what was about to happen. Her whole family had been Slytherins for centuries, but only she'd known that this had to come to an end.
The sorting hat was - yes, struggling - but after quite some time, it was really sure that Raven Windsor, the descendant of hundreds of Windsors, belonged into Griffyndor.
The whole room fell silent again. Just a few students were clapping a bit, only for decency, as Raven walked to and sat down at the Griffyndor table, and not the Slytherin one.The whole year, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, not Ranger, my apologies, and Ronald Weasley, or short Ron, solved the mystery of the philosopher's stone.
Some say, they should have been expelled for breaking dozens of rules, but Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts, thanked them with house points and reputation. While others enjoyed their first year of Hogwarts, Raven Windsor didn't have any long term friends, only three to four girls that tried to be nice, but couldn't handle her being a Windsor.
For this reason, Raven used that year for studying for class, but mainly for practicing magic and getting better and better at it.• • •
