"So, what's your answer, Lily? " asked the witch.
" I - I think I know...... "
"So? ". The witch was too desperate for Lily to answer that she couldn't wait.
"...... "
"Say something! "
" I agree to the deal. "
" Ha! Correct choice Lily! I knew you are smart! "
"Well.... What do you want in return? " Lily asked, wondering if it was something she couldn't give or worse.
"Oh. About that. Follow me. "
Lily along with the witch walked away through the black forest. They reached to a giant tree which was even 10x the size of the witch.
Lily exclaimed, " Woah! What a huge tree! "
"I know. "
"Huh? "
"This tree has been here for 1000 years. But it wasn't here before then. A tree can't grow up to that tall. " The witch told her.
"You mean to say, that, this is not a tree? "
"No, it isn't. "
"Then what is it? Seems pretty much like a tree to me. "
"Well..... It's my best friend. "
"What?! I mean. Yeah. People like to be friends with the nature around us. "
"Yeah. But it's actually the other way around. This isn't a tree. But, my best friend. An evil witch turned her into a tree 'cause she thought it would be fun to mess with some humans. God knows why. Y'know. Even I wasn't a witch before! "
"Oh my god! I can't believe this. That witch must've been such a cruel one. Is there no way to turn back this curse? "
"Yeah. She was a bad one. But, there actually IS a way to turn her back into human. And once she is human. I will be too. " Said the witch.
"Then why didn't you break it already? You could've freed your friend and yourself too. "
"I can't! That's the problem here! "
"But why? "
"Well...... To be straightforward. I won't be hiding anything from you, but...... "
"But what? "
"I will be needing something to break this curse. "
"What is it? "
"Uhm.... It's.... Uh...... "
"Please don't hesitate to tell me. I will help you. " Lily said wanting to help the witch. "
"If you say so..... Well.... I will be needing a-...."
......
Wonder what will the witch ask Lily for.... Will Lily be able to provide her with whatever she wants? Or perhaps..... No.
