"What are you saying my child?! Do you have a fever? Are you ok? I think we should call the doctor. " Her mother was genuinely asking as she checked Sarah's temperature.
Sarah shoved off her mother's hand and got angry. She got up her seat and grinned her teeth in anger as she shouted, " No! Mum. But I really need an answer now. "
Looking at this behaviour of hers, her father got up and said, " Enough is enough! How can you speak to your mother like that?! "
"Oh! My own mother! Right! Then I need an answer from you! Father! " Said Sarah pointing her little finger at him.
"You don't behave like that Young Lady! You have to be taught some manners! " Said her father putting his newspaper on the table in anger.
"Ya! Whatcha gonna do?! " She said trying to provoke him.
"You're grounded! And no gadgets for 1 week. "
"What! You can't do that! " She screamed in anger.
"Another word, and it will be extended to 2 weeks. "
"Ugh! " Saying this she went to her room and slammed the door behind her.
"Hah! " Her father sighed as he sat down and went back to reading again.
Her mother watching the whole drama from afar, could not interfere or say anything , but now being too worried, she couldn't hold back and said to her father. "Maybe you shouldn't have been that harsh on her. "
"She had to be taught once and for all. It's her punishment. You don't have to worry. She'll be fine. " He said not even looking at her once.

Sarah was in so much anger, that she couldn't even think straight. It looked like she might just explode any minute now.
Trying to keep her cool, she got ready for school and as she stepped out, it started raining in a few mins. She quickly pit her hands on head and started running till she got to under the shed of a bus stop.
After waiting for a while for the rain to stop, she had no hope left and just thought of running as fast as she can. Just then, she saw a boy, her age, with an umbrella walking down the street. He stopped by her and asked if she would like to share the umbrella. Of course, she said yes and then they both kept on walking.
"So, what's your name? " He asked facing along the front of the road and walking straight.
Sarah took a glare at him, faced forward again and said, " It's Sarah. What about you? " She said looking back at him.
He glanced at her for a while, gave a little laugh, and facing the front he said, " It's Alex. "
"Why did you laugh? " She asked with a soft tone.
" Because you look a little too cute. " He said trying to tease her.
That one line made her blush so hard that she had to hide her face and look down in embarrassment.
