{3} Yule Ball Eve

-It's the night before the Yule Ball hence 'Yule Ball Eve' and you're still broken but Pansy convinced you to still go to the Yule Ball and you agreed. You and Draco aren't in the best place still but you've 'made up'-

Pansy: -Walks into your dorm and you're reading- Hey Yn -she smiles-

Yn: -You close your book and smile slightly- Hey Pansy

Pansy: Oh Yn..don't be down. Draco will come around to you and Mattheo.

Yn: That's the thing. He won't. And I know that..I mean I haven't even spoken to Mattheo...for a few weeks now..

Pansy: Then go speak to him!

Yn: I saw him twice out of those few weeks and each time I tried to go up to him but he just walked off. He's skipping classes just to avoid me! His grades are slipping because of it.

Pansy: If you care so much like you do..then don't let him walk away next time -she winks before walking out of your dorm-

Yn: -It gets you thinking and you go to find Mattheo-

-It's raining outside and everyone is rushing inside as you're rushing outside, you can't just let him go again. You spot him sat at the top of a hill quite a ways away from the school and go up to him, you sit down next to him-

Yn: -You stare at him and he turns to look at you- Hey.. -He goes to get up and you grab his arm as a tear slips down your cheek, he doesn't like you upset so he sits back down- I'm so sorry Mattheo..

Mattheo: Are you? -He lights a cigarette [He has an umbrella set up behind yous]-

Yn: YES! -You cry-

Mattheo: Can't you just leave me be? -His eyes filled with tears and you realize how much you've hurt him-

Yn: Oh, Mattheo..I didn't mean to upset you..

Mattheo: You mean, you can't help that you don't love me back? Or that you're faking it because you'd rather a ferret control you? -Tears fall down his face-

Yn: Mattheo, it isn't like that!

Mattheo: -He stands up- Oh really? Then what is it like?

Yn: -You stand up and let your tears fall- Please forgive me..

Mattheo: Yn, I love you. But never mind that. I'll leave you be, I won't be in a one-sided love story.

Yn: You know I can't do that to Draco! -You cry-

Mattheo: -He spins back around to you- Our 'relationship' shouldn't have to be about what Draco wants. And the fact that, that is all you care about just proves it's one-sided..

-You watch as he walks off crying..You hate yourself right now-

Yn: (What is wrong with me!? Why don't I just say it back..why can't Draco just be fucking happy for me for once!) -You cry on your knees in the rain-

-Later on in the Slytherin common room-

Yn: -You're sat with Pansy, Lorenzo and Blaise as Draco walks in and you look at each other, he goes to say something but you speak first- Draco, we need to talk.

Draco: Okay? -He follows you as you walk to your dorm-

Yn: -You get into your dorm and turn to face him- Why?

Draco: What? -He chuckles-

Yn: Why can't I date Mattheo?

Draco: Oh so now it's 'date' Mattheo instead of 'like' him? -He looks pissed-

Yn: What? -You laugh angrily-

Draco: Just leave him alone, and he'll leave you alone. You're not to go near him.

Yn: WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!? -You're overflowing with rage as tears flood your eyes-

Draco: WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME!? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!?? YOU'RE A BACKSTABBING SISTER, WHO LIKES MY BEST FRIEND!

Yn: DO NOT TWIST THIS ON TO ME. YOU'RE DATING MY BEST FRIEND!!!

Draco: ...

Yn: Exactly. I mean, to me it doesn't seem too fair.

Draco: It is a completely different situation.

Yn: It really is not. -You laugh sarcastically-

Draco: That isn't fair.

Yn: YOU'RE NOT FAIR!

Draco: YN! LIFE ISN'T FAIR. AND YOU LEARN TO DEAL WITH IT. Now, stop being a brat.

Yn: DRACO!

Draco: And you'll move on.

Yn: DRACO. I LOVE HIM. -You start crying hysterically-

Draco: -He turns to look at you as tears flood his eyes- ...

Yn: ..Yeah, I fucking love him. I fell in love with your best friend Mattheo Riddle. But you know what? I wouldn't take it back because I love him! And I don't believe I'll ever stop doing so!! And I can't even tell him it back because of YOU!!!  -Your voice is breaking and your tears aren't stopping- Because I love you too. And you're my brother and I didn't want to make you upset, or- or- disappoint you. -You shrug- but I guess I learnt maybe a brother should just be happy for his sister because it's what she wants. What makes her happy. -You smile sadly, crying- But I don't tell him..and I can't because you're my brother still, always. But a brother shouldn't treat me like this. Y'know he said to me 'Te amo Yn, eres lo mejor que me ha pasado. Por favor quédate conmigo para siempre' but I don't speak Spanish -you laugh as tears flow down your cheek- he said I'd figure it out eventually. -You nod upset- However you speak Spanish. So, tell me Draco what did he say to me? -You look at him 'with all your pain'-

Draco: -He looks at you with his tear stained face and more tears falling but can't respond and just shakes his head as he walks out of your dorm and you fall down to the side of your bed crying, wishing everything would just be good..-

Yn: -You scream in agony as you continue to cry, you turn to Mattheo's bedside table and see a picture of him, Draco and you..you cry but smile slowly not being able to control the break down, you miss him so much. You know you'll never get Mattheo back and you'll never forgive Draco for what he has done to you but you need him and can't be alone..-

-It's been a few hours and you're still in pain..you know there's darkness in the distance. You hop out of the shower still crying but you wash your face and smile in the mirror-

Yn: It's okay..I'm okay -You laugh until it turns into crying and you grab you mouth struggling to breathe as you're crying, you just simply can't live without Mattheo and you realize the mistake you made of letting him go.-
