16, jealous pt 2. [w.w]

I think I might just pass out, I think my heart stopped beating and I think I'm about to say yes. Wyatt's heart is beating out of his chest as he notices the expression on your face, he feels as if he has just said the most important sentence in his life, in a way it is as this will either make or break the relationship between him and his best friend that he cares for the most.

Wyatt waits in suspense as he waits for your reply, his heart is still beating fast and he can still feel that tension in the air as the silence continues, he slowly takes your hand and caresses it with his fingers as he waits for you to speak.

"Yes." You say, a simple yes but still, that simple yes changed everything.

Wyatt lets out a sigh of relief but this sigh is also one of excitement, he seems genuinely relieved that you answered that in the positive. He looks at you for a moment longer before leaning down slightly, he places his hand on the side of your face as the other is still holding your hand. The room is silent aside from the music that is playing in the background and the beating of your hearts as you both get closer.

At this point your faces are only inches apart from each other, Wyatt closes his eyes as he leans in, he places his hand on the back of your head as he goes in. Wyatt's lips are soft and tender as he slowly kisses you, he doesn't want to go to fast so he holds the kiss for a couple of seconds in case you want to pull away, otherwise he will keep the kiss going for as long as you're comfortable with. He is hoping for his first kiss to be one to remember.

Wyatt breaks apart from the kiss after a few seconds, his cheeks are flushed red and you can see his expression is one of pure joy. This was his first kiss so he's not sure of how he did, he waits for a moment to see your reaction, he's excited as he thinks to himself that this could possibly be a relationship, but of course he won't count his chickens before they hatch. Wyatt continues to look at you, his eyes sparkle with excitement and his cheeks are still bright red.

Wyatt smiles at you, you have given him one of the most joyful moments he's ever experienced. Your lips are soft and your skin smooth, it was the perfect kiss. He notices you haven't said a word yet so he decides to break the silence. "Can I hold you?"

"For as long as you want."
