As Avery and Jane walked through the hallways of their school they tried to ignore the stares and whispers coming from their peers. But it was hard when it's the whole school and not just a small group of people. Even the teachers gave them weird looks. The whole day went on like this and the two girls didn't understand why.

They decided to meet up during free period to talk about it. They didn't expect that so many people would give them hateful looks and make comments as if they weren't right there.

"What do you think that's all about?" Jane asked when she entered the bathroom.

"I don't know, J. But it makes me uncomfortable."

"Me too."

"We've been friends for years and no one has ever looked at us weirdly, why did things suddenly change?"

Both girls remained silent as they thought about the red head's question.

"What if....."

"What?"

"Nevermind. Let's head back to class."

Neither were aware of the girl that had been hiding in one of the stalls and listened to their conversation.

Although nothing about the girls' relationship was confirmed or denied she decided she'd heard everything she needed to ruin their lifes.
