Cale is transferred from his bed through corridors to a nearby unit with dim lights pronounced all throughout the surrounding hallways. He looks at the nurses surrounding him in a slightly confused manner before ending up in front of a locked door with a large window that has been covered up with blinds that glisten and glimmer. A nurse straps a watch to Cale's left arm and it adjusts ever so to the width of Cale's wrist.
Cale: What's this all about?
Nurse A: This watch relays information to our systems on your vitals and scopes the current state of your overall well being. Let's see.. let me check if you're all well before you get up from your bed..
An orange screen momentarily flashes on from the watch.
Nurse A: You're alright to move around. We're clearing you off for this assessment. Try to take things easy meanwhile, okay?
Cale: I'll try, but I make no promises.
The nurses help situate Cale off from his bed and knock on the door.
Nurse B: Dr. Vital, the patient we contacted you about has arrived.
Vital: One moment, kemosabe.
A tall man with medium length hair that droops past his chin, donning a beard and wearing a large coat with long leather white gloves that stretch up to his elbow, opens up the door to the room and walks out to greet the nurses and Cale.
Vital: I'll take things from here. I will alert you all when they are ready to be sent back.
The nurses leave the area and return to their stations. Vital is standing tall and firmly, towering over Cale in comparison.
Vital: What's going on, brother?
Cale: Hello from below the clouds. Nah, I'm just pulling your leg. Dr. Vital, right? My name is Cale.
Vital: Haha, nice to meet you, Cale. I'm digging your vibe already. Everything is all chillax in here, my dude. Come on in and I'll show you around.
Cale follows Vital inside his laboratory. A large telescope-like object lays adjacent to a broad physical control panel with holographic monitors.
Vital: When you're dealing with important controls like this man, it's easy for your tappers to slip on a hologram if you're not careful. Even if you've mastered the way of the future, man. That's why I primarily control everything in here using a physical control board. To me, it's a lot safer that way
