"Maybe" he said as he snatched the necklace out of my hand.

"Look, I don't wanna sound rude but, you look like a vampire" Faye said.

"Why thanks! I do try to look my best" Jesse said.

"It's not a compliment" Faye said.

"Anyway, if I was a vampire, would you slay me?" He asked.

"We'll it is our duty" I said.

"What If I'm a good vampire?" Jesse asked, pulling out a crystal ball. It was the crystal ball of souls. That ball holds every vampires soul. All vampires don't have a soul, that's what makes them vicious and "dead".

"You have a soul?" I asked, gulping.

"Yes. It's a long story" he said.

"Okay, Megan I'm gonna go patrol, see if there's any vamps round here" Faye said.

"Okay"

I was standing there, he was just standing there looking at me.

"I'm gonna go look for some vampires and find Faye" I said awkwardly.

"Okay, bye" Jesse said as he walked away.

I ran towards Faye.

"Found anything?" I asked her.

"Yeah, and it's pretty gruesome" she said as she gestured at a hole in the ground, following to a trail of blood and then a dead body.

I started to hurl. I was used to seeing dead things. But there was something about this body, it was 'different'.

Me and Faye approached the body tentatively, to make sure it wasn't a trick.

Looking at the marks in the neck of the body I could see something, it wasn't a vampire bite, it was much serious. The body had five holes in the neck, it looked as if the skin had been tore off the neck and then bitten.

It was all peculiar at first, I couldn't help but imagine this magnanimous creature in my mind. I took a snapshot with my camera, to show to my watcher. A watcher is a person who tells the slayer where To go and what to do. His name is Wesley.

"It's really disgusting" I said while showing Wesley the pictures.

"Yes, it seems rather intriguing" he said in his posh English accent.

"How is a 5 hole bite intriguing?" Faye said.

"This mark dates back to the late 1600's, the Eliminati" Wesley said searching through a stack full of books.

"Aha!" He said.

"I have found the murderer of this man, it's called the colimanti, a deadly creature who feeds from its fingers" he said while turning the page.

"First he rips off the skin, and then digs its fingers in so hard that they act as suction cups and suck all the blood" he said.

Me and Faye sat there mouths open in astonishment.

We looked at each other and gave a horrified look.

"You do know that you have to hunt down this creature?"

"Give me a break" me and Faye said simultaneously.
