And suddenly loud alarm resounded.

William opened his eyes, and took his phone to check the time "Fuck!" he said loudly as he realised he overslept, great start of the new college year. Knowing he won't be able to make it on time for first class he lazily got up from bed and while putting on some music he turned on water in the shower.

While he was showering his phone buzzed due to new message, it was his best friend Henry

"Where are you? You're going to be late!"

"Hello? Do you seriously want to miss first class with new lecturer? It's not a good idea."

"Did you oversleep again?"

Annoyed with all those notifications William quickly finished washing his hair and went to check his phone

"Sorry Henry, I won't be able to make it on time for first class, cover up for me? Thanks."

He yawned, coffee he desperately needs coffee.

After putting on some clothes he went to the kitchen, he quickly made some breakfast to go and left the house. He stopped by in his favourite coffee shop and only then turned his direction towards college.

There he goes, he quietly opened class doors and went inside the room. He caught few people staring at him, but he didn't mind, well that was until he heard quite deep voice speaking loudly to him.

"Mr.Afton I suppose? I Hope doctor appointment went well."

Doctor appointment? That's the worst excuse ever, thanks Henry.

"Yes, it went well, I'm really sorry for being late Professor."

Black-haired man titled his head and by that he gave signal that William should go take a sit now.

William sat next to his friend.

"Doctor appointment? Really?" He whispered annoyingly, while Henry just smiled awkwardly and shrugged his shoulders.

William thought to himself as he checked the time for 10th time

"That's all for today, class dismissed."

William's expressions suddenly changed when he heard words of his Professor. He let go sigh of relief.
While students were packing their stuff Holmes spoke again.

"Afton, you're staying."

William widened his eyes and gave confused look first to Henry then to his lecturer. After everyone left, brown-haired man moved closer towards taller man.

"Try not to oversleep next time."

"I-"

"Here's the paperworks your colleagues got at the start of the class," Vincent cut William off and gave him few sheets of paper.

"It's supposed to be finished by tomorrow."

"Is that all?" William took papers from Vincent's hand and put it in his bag.
