"Cherries" (Professor AU)

Low sigh could be heard as he stood in a middle of garden which was located behind his campus, he slowly moved towards tall tree in front of him, then threw his hoodie on the ground previously taking it off causing him to stay in light blue shirt.
William sat down on it and while taking a sip of his coffee he took out a book from his bag. He knew he shouldn't be here, he knew he should be attending his class right now but even a single thought about it made him feel overwhelmed, overstimulated, tired and restless. So he decided that for his own well being he could skip a class.....

Or two.

He didn't even realise its been two hours since he came here, scent of blooming flowers and gentle wind messing with his brown hair along with coffee and his favourite book made him completely forget about anything else, so after checking the time he quickly got up taking his hoodie and brushing off the grass from his trousers and as he was about to go he heard familiar voice calling his name.

"William?" Owner of the name turned around, his eyes ocean blue eyes meeting lavender eyes of his professor.

"Don't you have classes now? Are you okay? Did something happen? Was it narcolepsy?" Amount of questions along with Vincent's worried tone made him feel overwhelmed as he tried to calm down his lover. 

"I'm fine, I just skipped class, that's all." Shorter man sighed. "You don't need to worry." He smiled gently as he came closer.

"Alright, if you say so," Vincent patted head of his lover, gently messing with his hair, despite William's protests. "You should go now, your next class starts soon." Those words made William only groan in annoyance.

"Fine, but I want a kiss first." As soon as he said it, Vincent moved his hand on his chin making him look up then gave him quick kiss on the lips.

"Shoo now." Black-haired man smiled as he saw his lover nodding gently, but before William could leave Vincent remembered something and called out for his partner again.

"William, I may be home late tonight, I have business meeting." He said as he took out keys from his pocket and threw them towards William who cleverly caught them.

"Alright, love you!" That was William's last words before he ran towards entrance of his college, leaving Vincent alone with his cigarettes.

"Ah damn it.." He mumbled under his breath while still sucking on his cherry lollipop. He sighed as he put down the controller and leaned against the back of the sofa, taking remote he turned off the game and switched to TV channels looking for something interesting to watch, he sighed loudly again while looking at the clock: 10:20 pm, Vincent should be home already, he said he has a meeting but William didn't expect that it will last so long, he whined as he rolled on the sofa, starting to get bored with lack of good things to watch, soon he heard quiet sounds as he noticed small ginger cat, coming towards him. "Hi lady." He said as he picked cat up and put her on his lap while gently patting her head. He then put lollipop stick on a plate on the table in front of him. As he continued to gently caressing ginger haired cats back he felt the tiredness taking over and as he was about to close his eyes and let himself fall into deep sleep he heard someone opening the doors, tiredness left him right away when he saw his lover standing in the hall hanging his coat on the hanger. He let Lady go then quickly moved towards Vincent, practically jumping into his arms and kissing him passionately.

"Hello to you too, gorgeous." Vincent chuckled quietly as they ended their kiss. "Missed me?"

William let quiet "Mhm." then he buried his face into Vincent's neck, hugging in tightly.

"What was that meeting about? Are college lecturers meetings really that long?" He asked shorty after letting Vincent go then helped him with taking his tie off.

"It wasn't college meeting." Hearing that William titled his head in confusion, which made Vincent laugh a bit.

"My family had urgent business matter, nothing important, but they still needed my help." Saying that he left William in the hall and moved towards kitchen where he grabbed a glass and poured water into it. William soon followed after him, snuggling into Vincent's chest. after a while he stood on his tiptoes and gently leaned in to kiss black-haired man, but faced brutal rejection as his lover backed up a bit.

"Nuh uh, you taste like cherries." Vincent said which made William frown and roll his eyes. "And you taste like cigarettes. Deal with it and give me that kiss."

".....Fair enough, alright, come here gorgeous." Vincent sighed as he let William kiss him again.
