Jennie wakes up before lunch and decides to work out on her treadmill. She's stressed because of what transpired last night between her and L. She certainly doesn't like her, but she'll still proceed with her plan. There's no way that she'll just let L disrespect her like that. She will show her who she's dealing with. She'll make sure that she will make her suffer until she becomes kind and submissive to her. "Who does she think she is? She's just a lowlife! She has no right to disrespect me like that!" Jennie thinks to herself while sweating out all her annoyance.

Then she takes a bath and decides to cook her meal instead of going out. She turns on the music and then prepares all the ingredients in her kitchen. She hums as she cooks her fluffy pancakes while she prepares the syrup and berries. Jennie loves to cook; it is her favorite hobby.

While eating, she picks up her phone and starts messaging L regarding their deal.

To: L

Hey, let's get down to business today, shall we?

She didn't know how to start this conversation with L, so she kept it short and direct. She continues to munch on her breakfast and after a few minutes, she receives a reply from L.

L >

Good morning, Jennie! Okay, let's do it, where should we meet so we can talk about it?

Jennie suddenly feels anxious again. "What if someone saw me with her?" she worriedly asks herself. She is scared that they'll mistakenly think that she hires L for sex. But remembers what Chahee taught her. Her best friend told her that if ever she got caught, she could tell them that L applied for a job in their company, and she hired her as an assistant without knowing about her indecent lifestyle. Simple as that. She can't back out now since she's the one who asked for this last night. "It'll only take a week", she mentally thinks. She has been thinking hard about this since after what happened last night. "What did you get yourself into, Jennie?! You could just walk away!", she mentally scolded herself.

After some time, she finally decides to go on with what her best friend told her.

To: L

Meet me at my office later. Just tell the security guard that you're an applicant who had an appointment with me, understood? We could talk and settle everything there.

L >

Trying to avoid trouble, huh? Don't worry I'm not a big fish to be a well-known escort. I don't even have an agency for this. Send me the address and the time, I'll be there.

Jennie is surprised to know this and then realizes how L suddenly and directly approached them that night. "Well, that's much better, no other people will be involved. It's just the two of us". She sends her the address and her preferred time as she finishes her lunch. After getting enough rest, she starts to prepare.

Jennie arrives at their office an hour before their agreed time. Their building is not that big, but it has an ample space where they can operate efficiently and effectively. She's walking in the lobby and a roving security guard is surprised to see her. "Good afternoon Ms. Kim!", he says cheerfully, and Jennie automatically smiles back at him. "Good afternoon, Mr. Yang! I'm going to interview an applicant today because I need a personal assistant ASAP to accompany me all the time for a whole week since I'm going to be very busy without Chahee", she says. The guard nods, "Ah right, I hope Miss Park is alright. Anyway, have a great day, Miss Kim!" he tells her as he bows to her. "Thank you and have a good day too, Mr. Yang! Tell the applicant to go to my office when she arrives. Her name is L", she tells him and then goes straight to her office.

Once inside, she removes her coat and puts it on the coat stand. Her office is not big. She and Chahee have separate offices in the building. She checks herself in the mirror, "Good thing I came earlier than her", she mentally says to herself. She prepares a coffee to drink while We Might Even be Falling in Love by Victoria Monét is playing. She sits in her office chair as she relaxes and waits. But her mood turned sour when half an hour had passed, and L still hadn't arrived. She hates people who arrive after a pre-agreed-upon time, she thinks that they're disrespecting her time and undervaluing her as a person.
