The sand stuck to the two navi's feet as they walked past empty pods. They began to approach the open and free sea. No one in sight, the waves washed against the oceans softly as they began to approach. Swriya was the first to go, her body sinking in the water as her hair became wet causing it to stick to her rough back. She sunk her head underwater as she opened her eyes the fish swam across her body and her face. It was peacefully for sure, but she began to noticed the boy who she was supposed to at least be taking care of wasn't there.

Her body broke the surface of the water as she turned around slowly, the dark blue navi stared at her with a confused look. His face was fun she couldn't explain it in such words small words. She began to laugh slightly as she covered her mouth with her hands, she began to laugh even more as she kept staring at his face. "What?" Neteyam looked around with a raised face as he began to look at his surroundings trying to find the reason was laughing. His hair lashing against his shoulders as he looked around even quicker trying to find what the girl could have possibly been laughing about. "What's so funny I don't understand?" He spoke as he stared at her for a bit longer as he raised his face once more.

He bent down a bit as he put his pressure on his knees. It took at most 10 more seconds before Swriya's laughter could die down. She removed her hand from her face as she stared at Neteyam again. "Sorry it was just your face, it looked weird." She giggled once again as she covered her mouth again.

"Rude for a chiefs daughter." Neteyam muttered as he walked towards the sand as he walked closer to her. His ears perked as he heard the high pitched laughter stop in just a few seconds. "Oh shut it skxawang." She rolled her eyes and turned her body away from his sight and looked around for well anything to really look at. Her tail whipped in the water as her hair began to frizz up. "Let's learn okay?" She saw a light purple ilu near the shore, she began to click for it as the ilu began to slowly swim over. It would be weird to say all of the ilu's were fond of her, but she couldn't deny it. She rode or took care of almost all of them in her free time when she wasn't taking care of her siblings or doing her duties. The ilu finally approached them  sending short waves against the young girls body. As she grazed her hand across the head of the ilu, "Calm Mali, calm girl." She reached into her small sack and took out a small paywll.

She tapped its head signaling for it to opens it mouth. It obeyed as she put the plant inside of it's mouth. "This is an ilu." She petted the wet creature as she smiled slightly. "Come closer." She signalled for the boy, as he began to walk cautiously towards the the creature. "Hurry up and stop being so slow, it won't bite you unless you are a kxap," Swriya rolled her eyes as she fed the ilu once again rubbing its head back and forth in a way to keep the ilu entertained and calm  at least for now. Neteyam finally approached her, it was a struggle for him as he didn't even know how to swim. It was surely embarrassing, he looked like a baby that had been born on land. Despite him being born on land she could bet a hundred shells that Tuk would be able to swim better than him. She grabbed his hand and helped him board the ilu, she looked down at the ilu and back at Neteyam. His face was light purple she didn't understand so all she could do was laugh once again at the boy. "What's funny now?" Neteyam grumbled as he looked down at her, her head rested against the head of the ilu. "Nothing I promise." She spoke in broken words as his color went back to normal.

She stared at Neteyam for a bit or maybe 30 seconds? She admired his features his face, his skin, his color, his fingers, his tail, almost everything about him. She coughed slightly and return to her normal pervious expression. She had gotten carried away with this skxawang boy, she was supposed to be teaching him not being friends. She coughed and cleared her throat. "Make the bond, feel his breath." She stared up at Neteyam as she connected with the ilu. She quickly broke her gaze and looked at the ilu, making sure the animal wouldn't leave or become at most frightened.

"Feel her breath, feel her strengthen." She spoke as she petted the ilu to make it much easier for the boy to bond with. She patted his hand and pointed to the rope. Neteyam closed his eyes and look around at the water then the ilu. "Now I let go." Swriya hesitated but then moved back as her hand left the creature. In just a few moments the ilu took off, along with the boy. She quickly went underwater to watch the boys skills. She smiled slightly as she noticed him hang on for longer.

When her and Tisyera helped the younger navi's it took them some time to even approach a ilu. But Neteyam was different, other than him being omatikayan of course. He just seemed to be daring but also careful. She saw him swim in circle before finally letting go of the ilu. She quickly pushed her body towards him as her arm wrapped around his wrist as she pulled him up. "You did amazing forest boy, at least for a beginner." She laughed and patted his back. As she smiled at him, she was proud of herself along with him.

"Thank you."
