You Are/Are Not The Father

5 Days Later...
Saturday morning
Brooke went out for a morning walk to clear her mind. While hitting her second mile around the neighborhood. She hears someone yelling her name. When she turns around she sees Levi running towards her direction.

"Morning B" Levi said while making a sudden stop

"Heyy Levi" Brooke replied while pausing her music

"How your arm feeling" Levi questions to make sure she okay

"Better, I still have a few more weeks in til this brace and cast come off" Brooke said glancing at her sprained arm

"That's good and it's nice to see you. I been wanting to talk to you as friends because I been having a lot of shit going on besides making sure you're home safe" Levi explained

"Well thanks for that and I already know. I heard you got that broad you cheated on me with multiple times (as I may add) pregnant allegedly annddd she doesn't know if the boyfriend or you is her baby's father" Brooke announced

"Shitttt how you find that out" Levi shouted

"Don't worry about that; does your momma know" Brooke question with concern

"No I was going to tell her after I get back the results today if I am the baby's father or not" Levi stuttered

"Do you really want to be the baby's father" Brooke said as a worrying friend

"No... I got to much things in my future and becoming a teen father going to fuck all that up" Levi answered truthfully

"Well you should've thought about that before fucking her raw dumbass" Brooke insisted

They both looked at each other then burst out laughing.

"What your thoughts on it" Levi inquired

"The revenge side of me want you to be the baby's father but me being your bestie for sooooo long I don't want you to be, because I know how hard you work on your future plans" Brooke answered gracefully

"Thanks I appreciate it... I miss us just being friends and the casual great sex sometimes" Levi stated

"Don't flatter yourself and it was ight; mid to be exact" Brooke jokingly replied

"Oh you got jokes but I give you that one" Levi called out

"Um mhm yeah but I'm about to finish my walk then head back home" Brooke said while putting her AirPods back in

"Okay I'm about to head in the house and I text you later when I find out" Levi said while walking up to his front door

Levi POV
I'm sitting here patiently waiting for these DNA test results. Jackie is seated across from me looking at the documents of information to being a mom, while her boyfriend Markel is pacing back and forth in the waiting room.

"How long is Dr. Lawrence going to take with these test results" Markel said while doing another lap around the waiting room

"She should be out in the next two minutes babe. Can you please sit down because you're making me nervous" Jackie insists

I chuckled at the both of them because this was the nigga she was with the whole time. While trying to ruin Brooke and I relationship but I digress because Brooke and I are back to being friends and my relationship with her is all that matters to me.

The door opened and Dr. Lawrence stepped out

"I have the test results" Dr. Lawrence said while handing Markel and I folded papers
