❥Megumi hugged me tight as soon as he got through Satoru's door, his fingers pressed my head into his chest, he breathed me in.
"Megumi...I can't..breathe..."
He loosened his arms, blush lightly dusting his cheeks as hd glanced away from me and looked towards Satoru and Nanami on the couch drinking rum.
"You have to promise me you will just appreciate what did happen and what hasn't happened after I tell you this okay?"
I take his arms, looking up at him serious.
"What happened to your cheek?"
his fingers brush over the now small scar there,
"Im getting to that...promise me or go back home."
"I cant promise you but I will be open minded."
Good enough...
"I fought Sukuna and won. Well...I just survived his attacks for ten seconds and-"
He covered my mouth.

"Ilya, I need a few moments before you continue. I'm going to the bathroom."
"Come to Satoru's room so you can go and cone back when you need."
He nods and I take his hand, leading him back into Satoru's room, shutting the door and turning on a lamp while Megumi enters the bathroom, shutting the door.
After a few moments, I hear him throwing up and feel my chest squeeze, this really made him physically sick.
I waited patiently though, and after a few more minutes, he opened the bathroom door and leaned an arm on the doorframe, watching me silently.
"The higher ups wanted me to pick a side, so they wanted me to learn the garden way, and the conclusion is that Sukuna is now benign unless provoked for a month because we made a deal."
"What's the catch?"

"I am his first target now after this grace period ends."
He shut the bathroom door again.
I heard him sigh loud snd drawn out, I hear him hit the sink counter with his fists a few times, and then silence.
I laid out on Satoru's bed, closing my eyes.
Guilt was by far the worst feeling, and I was consumed in it.
I know how Megumi is and yet, I am always pushing him, always doing the things he doesn't want me to.
The door to the bathroom opened, I just closed my eyes, listening to Megumi drag his feet as he walked to me.
"Im proud of you. I am glad you are alive. I guess that is the thing I need to focus on."
He laid on me, hugging me, I wrapped my arms around him too and we just laid there in silence.
"Thank you Megumi. Im sorry for always making you worry about me."
"I wouldn't want to worry for anyone else..."

I don't know when we fell asleep, but I woke up in the morning tucked into Satoru's bed alone. I sat up and stretched, looking around.
"I guess they all slept on the couch."
I couldn't help but giggle, slipping out of bed and sorting through Satoru's clothes, taking them to the bathroom to get a shower and change.
I checked my phone again, nothing new. It was 7am.
"I didn't even get to drink..."
Why did I fall asleep?

I walk out of Satoru's room and smell breakfast cooking, turning the corner to see Megumi and Nobara in the kitchen, Nobara smiling at me, throwing her arms around my shoulders in a hug.
"I heard you beat Sukuna's ass! Good job Ilya!"
"I just avoided his attacks...I didn't do anything to him."
"Still! you only got away with a scratch! You made him make a deal with you! That is crazy!"
"Nobara..."
Megumi was still upset about the situation from yesterday, though he is handling it a lot better than I thought he would.
"Satoru and Nanami are completely hung over. Nanami hasn't left the bathroom yet and he has been in there since 5 this morning, Satoru is on the couch-"
"Ilya..."
Satoru whined,

I smile at Nobara who laughs as I make my watch to where Satoru was laid out on the couch, he reached out his arms,
"You are such a baby when you drink too much."
I lay on him, he hugs me, mumbling,
"Am not..."
"Are too. Satoru, where can I find Sukuna?"
"No, you aren't cheating on us with that stupid cursed sorcerer."
Cheating? Us?
"Shut up...Just tell me."
"Nuh-Uhhh"
"I will ignore you this whole month if tiu dont tell me right now Gojo."
"Noooo. Say my nameee."
"Satoru. Tell me."
"Fineeee."

He tells me where exactly Sukuna has been staying. He stays where Geto and this Mahito guy stay.
"Tomorrow I am going to pay him a visit."
"So you will take care of me today? Please Ilya...Megumi doesn't know how to care for someone properly. He is too forceful!"
Satoru makes sure Megumi could hear, speaking loud and proud.
"Shut up Satoru, you are a grown adult, you don't need a babysitter. Come Ilya, get breakfast, your body needs it."
Megumi came over, glaring at Satoru and pulling me from his arms, Satoru started whining,
"No give her back!"
"Stop acting like a child Satoru."
Megumi pulled me to the bar and sat me up in one of the chairs, Nobara placing a plate of food in front of me.

There was a bite taken out of one of my egg rolls, when I look up at Nobara, she pointed to Megumi who turned his head away.
"He said he had to prove to you he didn't put poison in your food."
We both laugh, Megumi blushing.
Megumi...when we were way younger, I had always dreaded him cooking because the things he would make tasted like they shouldn't be consumed. I would always tell him to taste my food before I ate it so I would know if it was poisonous or not.
"Megumi. Thank you for proving that this food is edible."
"Yeah..."
He rubbed the back of his neck, leaving to go check on Nanami in the guest bedroom.
